We went to see Stickman with our 2 year old, who is a great fan of the book. Whereas the film stays incredibly close to the book, the theater performance had some creative add-ons, which we really enjoyed. 2 years old might a bit on the young side for the performance. The theater on its own was already so impressive, that it was hard to get any response, but towards the end she got totally involved and visibly enjoyed it.

I took my grandchildren aged 6 and 4 to see Stick Man. They both love the story & loved the show. They both were singing along to the songs, laughed & danced in their seats. It was a great show for young children and also very enjoyable for myself & daughter. A great little theatre with friendly staff.

This is the third time I have seen this - all on different years. this years performance was not a patch on last years. My 18/12 old grandson was captivated last year but wasn't this year. The lady was too hard to hear.

Took my four year old twin boys and they loved it. Duration was just right and the kids are able to get involved and shout stuff out. My children loved the songs and the slapstick comedy.

We feel ripped off. I was looking forward to a theatrical experience. I wondered what the sets would be like and how they would set the atmosphere. Well there weren't any sets. Just 3 actors on a bare stage. It could have been in a multi-story car park. What did we pay for? These shows are booked solid so where's the money going? The story is burnt into our brains but they left major parts out like delivering the toys 'to fast asleep girls and to fast asleep boys'. My 3 year certainly noticed. Other (boring) parts of the story were expanded to enable song and dance routines. Hardly a magical xmas experience.

Having seen nearly every type of children's theatre going, this was below average. Both me and my 3 year old left feeling disappointed. A very different experience from the last show we saw Going On Bear Hunt which he talked about for weeks

We took our three children (5, 3 and 17 months) to see stick man yesterday and I can honestly say it was a lovely experience, very classy, very clever how it’s done by clearly very talented individuals. Our kids all loved it. Even the baby who we were a bit worried about, lovely theatre too. I don’t give it a 5 as there was a little bit of a wow factor missing - but I think that’s because it’s not meant to be stick man as a believable stick etc - it’s a man playing him with a toy and this is exactly why it is so clever

My almost three year old loves books and loves this story but really struggles to concentrate for long. But this really captivated him for an hour and we both thoroughly enjoyed the songs and adaptation of such a great story. Wonderful, talented actors too.

We loved this show. Took my son (5) who thought the show was really funny, he kept up with the story and even the more grown up humour. He was crying when it had finished. A brilliant production of this wonderful book. Sensitivily recreated for the stage. Loved the music and the general feel of warmth from the actors. Loved the Leicester Square Theatre also. Small and intimate. Thoroughly enjoyed this show. Would definitely recommend.

Fun and imaginative and really brings the story to life. My 4 year old loved it and was able to participate and join in with pantomime style responses. The three actors did a great job and were very lively.

It was a lovely show, my 6 year old son really enjoyed it. Based on the original story from the book, just added really nice and entertaning music to song a long. The actors and actress did hard job, singing and dancing all the running time through! Their sweats say everything.
