We were in the front row of the upper gallery. Our view was amazing but be warned the wooden seats are very hard and no back rest. I was advised to bring cushions which I did but they were too big for the space. I would recommend hiring the cushions- probably worth the £3 charge.

Perfect comfort, loved the idea of cushions & blankets. Will take note any other row than E, needs a back support- which can also be hired. Yes, we did have a pillar but could see all the play.

I was in the East Tower, behind a pillar, for £43. In future, I must get a more desirable seat. But I didn't need a cushion to hire!

Some obstruction from pillars, but actors move around the stage so you can still see what is happening.

Restricted view but we were aware of that prior to the booking. We were also disappointed that we had to book for cushions for the performance as they ran out! This should be provided in the price. Other than that - we enjoyed the performance and overall experience.

Our seats were unsuitable for over 30 degree centegrade heat. We were sitting in full sunlight for most of the show which was extremely uncomfortable even with the paper visor provided by the venue. Some kind of awning should be erected that can be drawn over in these conditions. We were in the front row of the stalls with a fab view just above the standing crowd, but all the central portion of the stalls and balcony were in full sun for at least part of the performance. Lots of people left in the interval. Shame as the production was excellent.

Taking the cheaper option of stading at The Globe, does put it's toll on the legs and feet, but luckily I had grabbed one of the areas where I could rest against the wall, so it wasn't too bad.

My daughter and I were groundlings and stood close to the stage. You can't beat the immediacy for impact and immersion. Also, standing up keeps you concentrating!

Great seats in the middle ring. Was fab to look down on the stage and the audience. Tightly packed so best not to take large bags or there is less footroom.

We had Groundling tickets and arrived early enough to get a spot right by the side of the stage. That meant we could lean on the stage and escape some of the rain. I would not have swapped these tickets for the most expensive seated ones.

We were in the standing section of the theatre with cheap tickets costing only £12. The play is long and our legs got tired so we stayed for the first half only. Would happily pay another £12 to stand for the second half on another date!

Our seats were sold as giving a clear view of the stage. Imagine our disappointment / anger that there was a ship's mast just below us obscuring parts of the stage. Some exchanges between characters were communicated through facial expressions which we totally missed...

Bay B seats E16 & E17 has a pillar in front which does restrict the view. However this didn’t restrict our enjoyment of it.
