I was on back row of balcony, I was able to move along as spaces there otherwise my view would have rather hopeless. General comment...I know money is always an issue for all Arts centres, but I find the stark difference of stairways, bars & areas around the auditorium between there & inside the performance area a little disappointing. Yes, it is a lovely old theatre but a bit ‘tired’!

Don't inflict these on yourself. Couldn't move. Roo hot. Too stuffy.

Whole stage visible (not the conductor or the orchestra). Seats are not staggered, so someone is sitting right in front of you. You can unworried lean to the side or sitting on your jacket to have a better view, because nobody is sitting behind you.

There is no risk of falling asleep in the balcony. As long as you sit up they are okay, and don't cost a lot.

Pretty good. Slight obstruction from the balcony above but nothing to worry about and we were aware of this in advance.

C9 in stalls, a bit to the side but the view is still excellent. Plenty of leg room.

Comfortable except that aisle seat in stalls on row O was right next to wall and no aisle.

My seat was extremely good, so comfortable and spacious. I'm 6ft and found it very comfortable. I struggle with constricted seating a lot but this seat was very accommodating.

I had balcony seats and the theatre was build so that everybody can see all. I would still recommend one one floor down if possible.

They were balcony seats and were what you would expect. Saw everything crystal clear, just from a distance.

The economic balcony seats benefit from the audience member bringing some sort of optical enhancement.

Restricted leg room at the front of the first circle. Definitely would have been uncomfortable for anyone over 5.4 inches like myself.

We were on the balcony row c. It was a good view but you couldn’t see their faces from so high up but it did not distract from the enjoyment of the show.

I was quite happy with my Balcony seat as the ticket was very affordable. Coming from West Sussex by train, I also had to figure in the train fare. An expensive theatre ticket would have made it impossible for me to see a show in London.

Dress circle row D provides a great view of the action on stage. Whilst I was very far to the right I missed nothing on stage and had love the dress circle for its perspective of the overall stage.

L17,18,19 Upper Circle Our enjoyment was spoiled by the constant opening of the door immediately behind us letting in light and causing people to look round to see what was happening. Occasionally this was an adult taking a child to the toilet or having a break but mostly it was staff in and out trying to police any phone use. Whilst I understand this is a problem the actions of staff flitting up and down the aisles trying to catch people out was incredibly disruptive. In other theatres there is usually a heavy curtain drawn over these doors which you go behind to exit, thus reducing the ingress of light. It was extremely irritating and broke concentration of little ones every time. Please consider how to rectify this
