Dear Evan Hansen
Dear Evan Hansen
DEAR EVAN HANSEN is “the most vital and important musical of a generation” (Daily Mail, Baz Bamigboye) with “a raw, relevant and exhilarating score” (BBC Radio London, Jonathan Phang) from the songwriters of The Greatest Showman and La La Land.
A timely and timeless new musical about struggling to connect in a hyperconnected world, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is the winner of 3 Olivier Awards for BEST NEW MUSICAL, BEST ORIGINAL SCORE and BEST ACTOR. It is also the winner of two WhatsOnStage Awards and a Critics’ Circle Theatre Award.
Both deeply personal and profoundly contemporary, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is “theatrical lightning. A true original, appealing directly to the heart” (International New York Times, Matt Wolf).

Oh my goodness, where to start? Dear Evan Hansen is THE best show I've ever seen. Sam Tutty, you are a star to follow! Everybody in the show played their roles excellently. My only wish is to have seen it earlier so I could have gone again and again! Sad to say this is the last week. | so wish I was there for the last show, going to be even more emotional! GOOD LUCK everyone x

Dear Evan Hansen is a phenomenally moving and emotional show. It captures every emotion you have all in one go, I just wish I could see it more before it closes

Loved it the cast were all fantastic. We have been looking forward to seeing this for months and it didn't disappoint. Such a shame its ending. Special thanks to Sam who took the time to meet people after the show.

Loved every minute. A very worthwhile storyline of-the difficulty young people face. Beautiful sound track and special effects.

It's a well written musical - both the book and the songs. It does not have the same style as the Florian Zeller ones as those definitely keep you on the edge. This one has a bit of satirical touch to it, that it almost makes light of very serious situations and at the same time makes one re-think our views on life. Bring a box of tissues (I thought initially that I can hold back my tears and have done quite well in the first act, but the songs are so 'on point' and the acting excellent that the tears fell down easily in one very moving scene).

absolutely fantastic show. Acting was emotion provoking and the musical just brilliant overall. Seat in F24-25 of grand circle which were tight on leg and arm room but awesome on view. Totally recommend for teens and adults.

This show had it all, laughs, tears & everything in between. Being a former teacher I identified with the angst Evan was going through. It made me hope that the similar students I had who were like him, felt heard in my classroom!

Arresting story, good acting and singing with stunning lighting design. Pity about awful, repetitive music and songs.

I went to see Dear Evan Hansen with my grandson of 14. We loved the show so much. It was very moving. The young have such a difficult time these days with social media. It covered so many difficulties that they can face. I am just so sad as a Grandma that when I was younger, Theatre was so affordable, now the prices have gone through the roof sadly that is why we had to sit right up in the gods instead of the stalls where we would have preferred.

I left in the interval. Depressing story of a nerdy boy dealing with death of a bully. Boring music, strange Idea of entertainment. Did not know why made big deal out of being over 16 to see it. Now I know why.
