Following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and 7-nights at the Lyric Theatre, comic legend Frank Skinner transfers his critically acclaimed new show ‘30 Years of Dirt’ to the Gielgud Theatre for 14 shows only.
WHAT THE CRITCS ARE SAYING ABOUT ‘30 YEARS OF DIRT’
'a supernatural sureness of touch...just plain funny in a way that few other comics can touch... supremely fast-witted in his interactions with the crowd…exquisitely vivid in some of his turns of phrase: you can sense Skinner the poetry lover in lines' - The Times
'he’s still got it… a comedy master… a masterclass in crowd work, with Skinner getting spontaneous laughs off every interaction… exquisite one-liners' - Chortle
'Skinner is never less than beadily alert…you come away happy that after 30 years Frank’s still dishing his dirt, and happier still that he can dish plenty more besides.' - The Guardian
'immaculately constructed…Skinner’s crowdwork is as sharp as ever…he can spool out a yarn every bit as entertainingly as prime-era Billy Connolly.' - Evening Standard
Including a 20 minute interval.

Funny and humorous despite Frank being unwell. There were times when I think he struggled as not well but really enjoyed evening.

Frank was brilliant. It's a slow burn then Wham! He goes right in.. and leaves no prisoners. Absolutely fantastic we laughed all the way through. Just thank goodness we weren't in the front row. They got theirs. Last time was jan 2020 and he hasn't lost his magic despite being unwell this time. 5 stars same line...

Frank Skinner was brilliant! I’ve always loved his style of humour and his show did not disappoint in any way. I laughed so much and so did my daughter. He is very witty and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

A self-deprecating master, making us feel entirely comfortable and relaxed (and I'll add that his warm up man, Pierre Novellie, was first class as well: I won't miss his tour). As always, Frank Skinner's interaction with the crowd was perfect, reacting perfectly - though never aggressively - and lighting up an otherwise grey London evening wonderfully.

Fantastic show !

Having had the curtain very ably raised with a short but slick set by Pierre Novellie, his co-host on his Absolute Radio show, Skinner treated us to an hour and a half of exquisitely-timed, wide-ranging anecdotal irreverence, interacting extensively with those in the front row. Yes, some of it’s blue (the tour title’s surely a dead giveaway), but it’s also very thoughtfully crafted and zeitgeist-reflective piece. My partner and I laughed as long and as hard as we have at any stand-up show over the last decade. Thoroughly, thoroughly recommended, even though you’ll find more swearing than on TV.
