We had high hopes with the looks of the set and the elves wandering round to chat to the children. But the show disappointed as there was a lot of talk but hardly any interaction and our 5 year old was bored after 30 mins. There were parts where the female actress spoke so quickly we couldn't understand her and the actor with the artic giraffe was painfully loud. We ended up leaving early.

I took my grandchildren to see what thought was a play about finding Santa but it was really about a bag of letters to Santa. Santa didn't even feature in the play. As we were leaving the theatre I heard so many children asking their parents etc why didn't they find or see Santa ? My grandchildren were quite upset. The actors, whilst very good at the story they did act out, their dialog was far to fast for children. Both ourselves as English teachers plus our children who were also with us found it very hard to follow the speed of the dialog. When the actors asked the audience specific questions, they spoke much slower and easier for the audience to understand.

We went as a party of a variety of ages from adults , 14 year old and ages 10 and 7. We all thought it was one of the best shows that we have seen. It was so inclusive of all ages. Out teenager and the children loved the audience interactive nature of the play. They loved Tatty and Pumpkin as they were so funny. We thought the puppeteer was amazingly clever and talented! The puppets were so well made and beautifully bought to life. It exceeded all our expectations! A huge thank you to the tree talented actors. It is such good (really affordable) theater. You could take babies and grandparents too! I would highly recommend it for all ages of any family. The theater staff were also warm , helpful and fun! It was also lovely that is was not in the busy west end at Christmas time as the area surrounding the theater was quiet (away from the hustle and bustle) .
