I wasn’t sure what to expect. The majority of RSC productions I’ve seen have been of Shakespeare’s plays and this was something else altogether! The puppeteers was wonderful as were the numerous stage sets and the main actors - well, ALL the actors but particular praise to the actor playing Mae. A really entertaining evening. A pantomime for grownups. 😊
