  Beaitifull cast and singing no major special effects not sure if puppet as dog worked for me personally however .ashley banjo premiered his appearance well jason v good and oh boy dorothy stunning voice ! Overall loved the show

  Loved the show. My only criticism, and it’s a small one, is that it was almost too loud. We were in row 3. Maybe if we were back further, it would have been better. Cast was fabulous

  Fantastic piece of theatre for all the family. Sound and lighting were faultless and casting was fantastic. Cannot wait to see what the future holds for this show. Really worth seeing the production for the famous story retold in a fresh unique way. The plot and the message behind the show was not devalued in anyway by the changes! Programmes priced at £12, which seems a bit expensive for my liking, but alot was included.

  The show was true to the original with a few modern twists, which didn't take any enjoyment away. Fabulous casting and the sets were amazing. As a huge fan of the 1939 film, I can honestly say that it had me hooked from the beginning to the end.

  The show was quite entertaining but not one of the best we have seen, I think this may have been as a result of our seats though. We weren't as immersed as we might have been in the story.

  The Wizard of Oz is amazing from the first note...too the last note. The whole cast are brilliant. I loved Ashley Banjos tin man dance. Jason Mansford is perfect for the lion. He plays the part with humour, and that cry got me every time. The scarecrow was great. Dorothy is amazing...her voice gives you goosebumps. The stage setting is brilliant. I cannot praise this show enough..it was amazing, brilliant and perfect. Well done everyone that was involved in this production.

  Both my daughter and I were absolutely blown away by The Wizard of Oz at The Palladium. The singing was incredible (Dorothy has to be mentioned in particular here), the dancing was so energetic, the lighting was brilliant and so were the special effects and the costumes. We can’t rate the cast highly enough and we loved every moment.

  Show seemed good but had to have kids on our laps due to extremely poor view, even though these were £190 per ticket, front row of royal tier, no mention of unsuitable for 8/9 year olds! Theatre not interested in my complaint and basically said though. Complained before, interval and after show. What a waste of £1000!!!

  Really great show although disappointing that ashley banjo wasn’t there - it was advertised that he was appearing on this date which is why we booked it. We were sat in the grand circle and I wouldn’t recommend as some of the show you miss - but they were last minute tickets so totally understandable. Cast & costumes were amazing.Jason Mansford was incredible that part was made for him! It was just like watching the actual one back in the film years ago.

  Absolutely love this show. It has it all, a hugely talented cast, fabulous costumes, and a brilliant orchestra. All performed on a stage with amazing scenery and props, bringing the whole story together perfectly. Highly recommend seeing it.

  What can I say - absolutely fantastic. The cast are amazing. The twists to the storyline are so funny. Dorothy singing somewhere over the rainbow brought me to tears - stunning. I’m hoping to see it again if it goes out on tour.

  Excellent show and cast,The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie as a child so when the show came i was overwhelmed how you kept parts of the original film in. I had such a lovely time,hats off to everyone

  Took my wife to see this for a birthday present we have been to many musical over the years and loved many of them but got to say by far this was the best we have ever been to !! The cast was out standing and the sets was amazing if you only ever go to just one musical make it this one will not be disappointed and will be a magical night

  Visited the palladium yesterday 2/7/23 for my birthday to see the Wizard of Oz. Was brilliant from start to finish. The voices of Dorothy and the other cast are mesmerising. When she sang somewhere over the rainbow I got really emotional. Jason Malford as the lion is hilarious and his voice was also amazing. The whole cast are brilliant and I loved toto too and thought that was brilliant and so realistic. Overall 1 million percent I would recommend this if the film is something you enjoyed. I would go again in a heart beat a great day out.

  This is the second time I see the wizard of Oz at Palladium, but compared to the one I have seen years ago, that one was much better. They changed the background of the characters, and not so many special effects. The fake dog, moved by a person, was kind of annoying and too modern. Did not particularly enjoyed, to be honest.

  Me and my partner was very disappointed with this show, very basic stage scenery, for a show that’s at the London Palladium ..after seeing wicked on stage, which was mind blowing , all the stage scenery was fantastic, this was just very poor, and didn’t have the wow factor at all , like all the other shows I’ve seen up London .. ( yellow brick road was poor) didn’t even have Emerald city , ( no witches castle) Glenda looked like a Barbie doll in her Barbie scooter coming on stage .. could of had the wicked witch flying the Monkeys flying , Glenda making a better entrance , rather then coming on stage in a pink Barbie electric bike what ever it was very very disappointed!!
