Absolutely amazing. I want to go back and see it again! The dancers / cast were incredible. The dance routines were so impressive, my 9yr old daughter was extremely inspired and left leaping and turning all the way to the tube.

Did not know what to expect as bought at my daughters request as a birthday present but the show was definitely one I would recommend. The energy and entertainment put into the performance by the whole cast could not be faulted and you felt you were part of their story. The music and action throughout left you wanting more. I cannot believe they put on two shows like that a day!

I enjoyed Newsies SO much, and from the amount of noise the rest of the audience made, I would imagine that every other person there yesterday felt the same way that I did. The main lead actor wasn't well and couldn't appear, but if I hadn't known that I would never have guessed, as his understudy was absolutely brilliant. For me the fact that it's really an ensemble piece, with every cast member having their moment 'in the spotlight', was the best thing. However the lead actor's understudy and the man playing 'Crutchie' were the individuals that I really wanted to watch. If you're a fan of American-style perfection in terms of choreography and dancing, the precision and energy were outstanding. The set was a feat of architecture, the music was toe-tappingly great, the lighting got its own round of applause at one point, and the sound was just right for me as I sometimes find the modern tendency to blast the ears is just too much to be comfortable. Altogether a really lovely evening and I hummed the tunes all the way home. What more could one ever want from a musical!
