Phil Connors is a pretty awful guy. But when the cynical Pittsburgh TV weatherman is sent to cover the eccentric annual Groundhog Day event in the small town of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, he finds himself caught in a time loop that sends him on a hilarious path to enlightenment and redemption.

Andy Karl reprises his role which earned him an Olivier Award as Phil Connors.

What a great show, would highly recommend. Such energy and a very polished performance, whilst portraying a deep and meaningful story. We are in control of our actions and can change things for the better!!

This was a great show - exceeded expectations! Obviously brilliantly written and funny as you would expect from Tim Minchin but also upbeat, great scenery and sets and a believable cast that kept you interested throughout. Overall great fun and well worth seeing.

The musical was full of energy and great fun to watch. The staging was amazing and everything was so well planned and choreographed. Sometimes the music was a bit too loud for the singing which made it hard to hear the lyrics, a minor problem though as overall it was great.

The cast were great and I really liked the set, which is why I love live theatre. Went with my daughter and grandson and we all enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone for entertaining us all!

I managed to get a last minute ticket to the show on Saturday and was so glad I did. I thought it was creative, entertaining and poignant in equal measure. The music and lyrics brilliant and definitely a great take on a classic.

Sadly cast illness can’t be helped and hope everyone is ok but it was a pity there was no understudy, a huge disappointment - this was my daughter’s birthday treat and we paid for travel, dinner etc. the first 20 mins were so good, stress of life forgotten. Then it ended. Took me back to the pandemic when everything fun was cancelled.

Really enjoyed Groundhog Day - at the beginning you think it’s just going to keep repeating, but it’s very cleverly done. Sets are great and some of the special effects are wonderful. Amusing in parts too, and the 2 leads were very good. Definitely worth seeing.

First of all congratulations to the whole ensemble for a slick performance with many fast costume changes. It must be exhausting. I love Tim Minchin’s witty lyrics. Andy Karl and Tanisha Spring were excellent leads. A great show.

I bought the tickets as I have full trust in Tim Minchin’s magic. I didn’t read up about it but live the storyline and it was utterly fantastic!! Stage, dance, casting, songs, music, lyrics, special effects.. I could go on and on. I would love to rewind it all and watch it again!! A Groundhog Day that I wouldn’t mind to experience myself!
