The worldwide smash-hit We Will Rock You by Queen and Ben Elton returns to London this summer, for an unmissable 12-week season. Seen by 20 million people across 28 countries, this musical spectacular plays to its biggest audience yet. Taking to the same iconic stage at the London Coliseum that saw Freddie Mercury’s 1979 Royal Ballet performance, this event will go down in musical theatre history.
Starring writer and director Ben Elton as the Rebel Leader, for the first time, alongside West End legends Brenda Edwards (Chicago, Sister Act, Hairspray) as Killer Queen and Lee Mead (Wicked, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) as Khashoggi.
Featuring 24 of Queen’s best-loved hits, including We Are The Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga and Don’t Stop Me Now, We Will Rock You is guaranteed to blow your mind.

Brenda Edwards will not perform on Wednesday evenings (except 23 August), Thursday matinees and 24 August.
Ian McIntosh is scheduled to appear in all performances with the exception of Monday evenings.

Whilst the voices of the cast were good we thought this was going to be a musical based on the film Bohemian Rhapsody, but it wasn’t. It refers a lot to “Britney Spears, Lady Gaga etc” and this completely sends the storyline off track in my opinion There’s a character called “Scaramouch” and “Galileo” and my partner said it had a Tron legacy vibe.

This was an exceptionally hilarious & witty show So funny and lively & vibrant The cast performances were memorable and it was clear that they were all just having fun with their show characters It’s a shame it’s not running for a longer period

Really love this show. Cast are great. Brenda Edwards has an amazing voice, as do everybody else in the show. Saw the show in July and loved it so much came back to see it again.

This was an amazing show and would highly recommend it. This was the first time I have seen the show, but my friend see the earlier version and said that they have done a really good job re-writing the show. It was funny the music was excellent and the cast was brilliant.

The music, the performers, the overall storyline behind all of the Queen songs was brilliant!! Hats off to Ben Elton . One of the best shows I have seen!

What a wonderful show. Brilliant performances, fantastic singing and acting. Some lines were so funny,and really made me laugh. I would recommend everyone to watch this fabulous performance. Also what a lovely theatre Staff were also very helpful and helpful.

The music is the show the lighting was great and the projection was good. But the story is weak and some of the dialogue was naff. But I think people will still go for Queens Music

The remake of this show was just perfect. Loved the humour, the up to date jokes and if course the music. I think it was better than the previous production and I saw that twice!

Great music, superb witty writing from Ben Elton and wonderful performances by the cast. Surprised how large a part Ben played and whilst he is not a singer his personality and wit carried things well. Superb entertainment and nice to be encouraged to join in as well.

Love it. Great singers (other than leading lady) who wasn’t a patch on her male counterpart. Very funny use of pop memorabilia in the script. Ben Elton was brilliant. I’m sure he used Dumb and Dumber as a role model?!

Absolutely wonderful!! However, had I not known all the words to Queen songs wouldn't have known what was being sung. Music, fabulous as it was, was louder than singers, so needed to be adjusted.

A very fine well written show for anyone who loves live music and wants to put a marker down on the AI tech that is already with us. My only criticism is that the with lyrics so important the lyric sound quality and clarity was not good enough and sometimes overtaken totally by the band ( and Yes I know it is rock music )

What an amazing night. First time for my partner 2nd for me . Amazing cast they really can belt out a song. The new referencing with some other songs was so funny. Just a really great night out shame its going to finish in August. Bravo 👏

We went to see this show last night and we thought it was amazing. My husband is deaf and has an implant so I was anxious that there would be a set up so he could enjoy the show for his birthday. I emailed the theatre once I had booked the seats and got a long email back explaining what they had set up for deaf people. When we arrived they were expecting us and a man set him up with a device. He heard most of the show said some jokes were too quick but he really enjoyed the music. They also checked on us at the break. Thank you so much.

Being a Queen fan I was bound to love the music. Not so impressed with the story to be honest. A lot of the music seemed forced to fit the storyline and vice versa, and was not a smooth run. The cast are brilliant and tried there best to make sense if it all.

Great musical, amazing music. The story brought Queen's songs to life or perhaps it was the music that made the story so touching. It was a thrilling experience taking you through a variety of emotions. The audience joined in clapping and singing. I'd happily go and see it again.

This is our first trip to London. The wife was so excited to see this playing. We made last minute reservations. OMG it was Brilliant! So much fun. Being a big Queen fan she loves it. Highly recommend for any fan of Queen and Classic Rock.

Went with my daughter for her birthday. It’s her favourite musical. We had a wonderful time, everything about the show was perfect. The performances were absolutely amazing from Ben Elton to the chorus, the singing and dancing was superb.
