A highly entertaining romp through an Autenesque novel that took on board homophobic ducks and bisexual bonnets, all in the context of a Dungeons and Darcys bored game. The cast seemed to enjoy it as much as the audience did.

We were treated to Sun, Sanditon and Suspicious Parents. It's honestly hard to believe it's all improv, and the fact that you see them trying not to laugh is amazing 😂 props to the gentleman playing twister as two characters!

So, so brilliant and clever. Never thought too that my alternative book suggestion of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy would be chosen as the theme for the performance I saw on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday evening. The cast were absolutely incredible in the way they verbally parried with each other with their wit and humour. Very physically agile too incorporating flashback scenes, corpses and frolicking lovers. The cocktail of surrealism and satire, weaving Betelgeuse into Hertfordshire Georgian society was wonderfully entertaining.

It was - like the curate’s egg - good in parts. I enjoyed the energy of the cast and the improvised performance poetry, but some parts like the giant, 6ft 4 inch six year old just didn’t hit the mark.
