  I went with my partner, the place is cosy, the staging is fantastic, how they recreate the scenes and the interaction with the children was wonderful. It is one of those plays that are for children and for those of us who don't have children it is a magnificent gift for our inner child 😌🥰

  The show is very faithful to the book, which is nice. Some of the singing and acting was a little under-energized and the children were not as excited as they should have been. The children liked the puppets (and puppeteers), but didn't think much of the giant.

  Took my 6 year old granddaughter. She enjoyed it. Some of the jokes were obviously for adults and she wondered why I was laughing when she hadn't heard anything funny. Shame there wasn't a programme as it would have been a good souvenir.

  My kids love the Julia Donaldson book series and my youngest (9) loved this show. Great opportunity for dad and son bonding. Great production if a bit short considering ticket prices, but I guess they make it to suit toddlers mainly. Highly recommended

  My 3 year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it. Julia Donaldson is her favourite author and she has been to a couple of shows. She has all her books. She will look forward to the next show of hers. Well done all involved in putting it together.

  This was a good show. We took our five year old grandson and he really enjoyed it. We also made sure he read the book forst whcich added to his enjoymet of the stage show. Well worth the trip

  We were a party of 8 (4 x5yr old & mum's). The girls loved the show, though did get a bit restless. I think this was more about the sound wasn't as clear at the back, and the girls couldn't see very well. From experience of these shows before, they've always gone down well. I think if we had been closer the girls would have been more engrossed and sustained their attention a bit better.

  My daughter (4 years) and son (2 years) both absolutely loved this show! It was funny, had good catchy songs and was just the right length for their attention span. My husband and I both enjoyed it too.

  Wonderful show. Great performers who were very clear and well spoken. Props were fantastic. I did find that the background music drowned out the performers voices whilst singing. Otherwise, my 4 year old thoroughly enjoyed the show.

  Great performance but for some reason less engaging than the Room on the Broom or Stickman that we saw earlier this year. Probably because the story itself has less plot twists. Still, a great opportunity for family time.

  This was excellent show. Our children love the Julia Donaldson / Axel Scheffler stories and know them by heart. My 4 year old chuckled throughout and the staging and acting was brilliant. Perfect duration to maintain children’s attention and just a brilliant family afternoon with special memories made!

  The production was fun & lighthearted & colourful & tuneful . perfect for my 3 1/2 yr old grandson who knows the story well . well sung , clever puppetry by excellent performers .

  Such a good show for adults and children. Cleverly adapted from the book, always fun but with a message in the story.
