  I adore Shakespeare and have seen a number of versions of many plays, including all male, all female, all black cast, hip hop, traditional etc. I love the poetry and the cadence of the language. For me, having seen a full bloody version of Titus many years ago, I felt a bit let down. I wasn't sure why the cast were single sex or why there were songs - particularly the one about the bunny. Obviously I appreciate the extreme violence in many forms in this play are so over the top they can be presented as comedic but somehow I didn't want them to be. There were some great acting moments and some flashes of comedy that were appropriate, but I was distracted by the candles, particularly when they were put out too early and had to be relit. I was a bit disappointed and for me it missed the mark Sorry

  This production was amazing in so many ways, you could tell there was so much love shared between the actresses, they were enormously talented and the adaptations were really spot on. Thank you for reminding me of how amazing theatre and esp Shakesphere can be!

  All female cast all wearing identical cloths I could not follow the play hardly any props this was only for diehard Shakespeare fans I went home after act one the orchestra was good

  Paid over £100 for tickets from From the Box Office (Ingresso Group). Caused massive headaches because they never emailed me tickets. Staff at the Globe extremely helpful - said it happens regularly! Play great, The Globe great - From the Box Office AVOID

  Was my first time seeing this play. Fantastic performances though I'm not quite sure why the cast was all female. I suspect Shakespeare wrote it when he was a teenager but I still think it's a great work and especially relevant while wars such as the one in Ukraine continue. Chopping up candles didn't work for me I'm afraid - blood needed to be spilt.

  What a treat - a really spectacular rendition of a lesser known Shakespearean work The all lady cast in their silky Mao suits and French plaits did a truly remarkable job of performing and giving humour to this bloodbath tale.   I went in with low expectations having read the complaints about forced cast gender, the lack of violence, the improvised additions (singing), venue and script. So maybe I had a low bar to start. But as a lover of Shakespeare I came away impressed by tue cast, the adaptation, the creativity and ambiance. Sure it’s not the Bard’s greatest work, but these people really brought it to life and I left feeling entertained, challenged, and respected.

  Never seen this play before. It was a superb production with first class acting. The modern song lifted it all even higher. Highly recommended. It'll stay with me for some time.

  Titus Andronicius was truly amazing! It was hilarious, traumatising and riveting all at the same time. Even my Shakespeare phobic husband loved it! The cast were phenominal. I cannot recommend it enough!

  Very disappointed it was cancelled - and very disappointed I couldn’t even look inside this famous auditorium having come 100 miles just to be there.

  Incredible interpretation of Titus Andronicus. It was surprising, chilling, smart and funny. The cast are all deeply talented people who made us laugh and sent chills down our spines. The adaptation complemented and enhanced the original play. I left wanting to immediately see it again.

  Thanks for asking. Bit frustrated at first as couldnt remember and relate characters to actors. Some lines hard to hear from the cheap seats. Didnt know it was an all female cast. So harder to distinguish cast and the light was dim too throughout. Like the music and the parody songs of the multiple deaths a'coming! Definitely improved in the 2nd act and liked the death symbolism stuff. It is a play I knew nothing about so well enlightened and enjoyed.
