I have been to 2 immersive exhibitions before so revisited this one in York after being wowed by it. This time the set up was the same, but film itself was very different. What was missing was his classic works. The sunflowers was previously shown in their various versions along with Starry night. These were shown along with many of his landscapes which were moving and very provocative. So I was sat waiting for them to appear but instead they were just shown as frames within the film. But the film was short and the exhibition after wasn’t anything I couldn’t find online. Not worth the £15 charge.

We enjoyed the immersive Van Gogh in York. Very comfortable deck chairs so I was tempted to have a snooze to the lovely background music. We stayed for a second round and changed seats to get a different perspective. Don’t miss the VR experience at the end. It was amazing.

For £15 a ticket, I was expecting a lot more. Not sure about the 360 show. It is just a projected on a 30 min loop. There were pictures and information. Only to find that the virtual part, costs extra. Took 10 mins to do the whole thing. Extremely disappointing
