Cirque du Soleil returns to London’s Royal Albert Hall with the European Premiere of LUZIA, a waking dream of Mexico.
Escape to an imaginary Mexico – a sumptuous world suspended between dreams and reality. Smoothly passing from an old movie set to the ocean to a smoky dance hall or an arid desert, LUZIA cleverly brings to the stage multiple places, faces and sounds of Mexico taken from both tradition and modernity. The delightfully imaginative and visually stunning show will see brand new acts and breath-taking production, never before used by Cirque du Soleil at The Royal Albert Hall, including incorporating rain into acrobatic and artistic scenes.
The arrival of LUZIA next year marks 30 years since Cirque du Soleil first brought its captivating magic and awe-inspiring acrobatics to the UK. Cirque du Soleil’s World renowned circus has brought wonder and delight to over 150 million people in more than 300 cities and 6 continents.
Book now to see the European Premiere of the spectacular Luzia at an iconic London venue.
The show incorporates a curtain of water. Very impressive in parts but does result in a lot of time that needs to be filled while the stage is dried. This was entertaining when the audience was participating with the clown but not so when it was the lady singing. Whilst the singing was lovely, its not what I would deem "circus".
Not one of the best performances I have seen. The safety net was not taken up high enough in one of the acts. Could not see what the artists were doing.
My annual fix of Cirque de Soleil never fails to excite and delight. Such haunting music and colourful costumes. The swing boat act was utterly terrifying and there was an accident but very luckily the performer appeared to be alright. I do hope so.
Our first visit. We'll be back next time! An amazing array of wonderful spectacular entertainers providing humour, fun and jaw dropping events.
The greatest show I ever seen and enjoyed every moment of the show
Luzia was a beautiful colourful show- very engaging, entertaining, tantalising, amusing.
unbelievable show with very clever people both on and of stage and the water!!!!
Cirque Soleil show is absolutely amazing. We went to see it in Mexico several years ago. When I realised it was coming to The Royal Albert Hall I didn’t hesitate and booked it for my partner’s Christmas Present. We live in Portsmouth so it’s train up then bus to Hall. Luncheon in Restaurant Verdi and wonderful seats and we were thrilled and amazed just brilliant. So very clever all of it. The water falling in patterns WOW Even the clown had us in the palm of his hand without saying a word. Wonderful show great day.
Very disappointed, the acrobatics where outstanding the clown was entertaining but the rest was very amateurish.
Iconic place to have the most amazing show l’ve ever seen. Costumes, music, singing and of course the acts were memorising. So much to take in.
I'be been a fan of C du S for many years but this left me disappointed. The Mexican theme simply didn't work and the 1st half almost made me want to go home but the 2nd half awoke the spell with four spectacular acts. Well produced, great set, awful clown, forgettable music so perhaps not again. The review in the Times was spot on.
This is my third CDS and probably my favourite - absolutely fabulous! So entertaining and impressive!! Go if you can.
Stunning performance, actors and music - each scene possibly a little long and clowns were average, but l the acrobats and atmosphere out of this world. Fab evening.
What a fantastic show with such perfection. The stage was out of this world and all the people was on the stage was breathtaking.
A fabulous show full of amazing acts and so entertaining. Seamless presentation. A must see wonderful production.
Really enjoyed the show and the venue was amazing. Sat on the third tier when during the show as the red curtain wasn’t raised high enough you couldn’t see what the show cast were doing. This was disappointing but what we did see we enjoyed.
Brilliant show, brilliant venue. Great night out. Thank you Cirque de Soleil!
We have been 4 times now and it just gets better, every year. Well worth going to see
CDS rarely fails to dazzle and Luzia was no exception. Incredible performances throughout, wonderful music and the water! Twenty quid for a programme, though? A press too far.
