  This was a great evening. The explosive energy of the dancers in Lazarus 2 was truly thrilling. I last saw Revelations in the 60's or 70's with Judith Jameson and have bored the hind legs off people ever since so it was a special joy to see it again even though no one can out do Jameson!

  What a feast for the eyes - the wonderful Alvin Ailey dance troupe was phenomenal last night. Beautiful rhythmic movements - flawless artistry - to African/American beats. Thoroughly enjoyable evening!

  Amazing performance, that brought tears to my eyes. A must see more than once experience. Open to close was a outstanding, moving, emotional dance performance that has been the best I’ve been blessed to experience.

  Good performance- this is my fourth time at an Alvin Ailey show and enjoyable as usual- however- Revelations seemed a little lacklustre and some of the male dancers, this time, do not have a ‘presence’ and don’t appear as ‘strong’ as in previous years.

  Hi I have recently watched the musical and I found it to be amazing! Such amazing talented team! True artists! A heart touchy topic very beautifully expressed. All the dances were perfect and dreamy! I would definitely plan to watch again and highly recommend it! Alvin Ailey you are such an amazing talent/artist! ❤️

  As usual it was magical! Some difficulty to follow the Acte I of Lazarus but the Acte II was fabulous. I am speachless for Revelations : great choreography, beautiful dancers!!!!

  Lovely to experience diverse dance and theatre at Sadlers Wells , which attracted an equally diverse audience Although , I did not fully understand the connections between the three pieces - I enjoyed them immensely.

  I went with my daughter and husband and we loved the performance. The dancers wonderful, technically brilliant and elegantly flowing. I must admit to finding Lazarus part 1 slow ( however the dancing was wonderful) but part 2 was incredible. Revelations was an eye opener and took us through the impact of the church on Afro American communities. Rock my Soul was uplifting.My husband felt that a more detailed strategy to connect with different peoples of colour in the US including the gender dimension was needed for the future.

  I have seen this company perform 3 times over the years and each time I’m totally gobsmacked by the talent of the dancers and choreographers. It leaves you both moved and uplifted. Just wow!

  As a dancer I have following the company for the last few years and saw them when they came in 2016. All I can say is wow The dancers was impeccable Choreography for Lazarus was amazing and really opened my eyes to what choreography is Revelation took me on a beautiful journey I was so inspired by tonight I would urge everyone to go and watch the company performance
