Night of the Living Dead LIVE!
THEY’RE COMING TO GET YOU, LONDON
Based on George A. Romero’s unparalleled 1968 film, one of the most iconic and influential releases of all time, Night of the Living Dead™ Live! comes to London for the first time ever! A bunch of strangers are holed up in a farmhouse in rural Pennsylvania. Hoards of the undead are approaching. Who will make it out alive?
Night of the Living Dead™ Live! skirts the line between the horrific and the hysterical. It’s the only production officially authorised by the Romero estate, paying loving homage to the film and recreating all those iconic scenes, alongside lots of new material for newcomers and hardcore fans alike. This was an amazing show. The acting made it. Laughed our way through it. Such a great show to watch.

I found this show absolutely phenominal. The black and white quality, the way it didn't take itself too seriously, and the second act absolutely made it for me! My favourite character changed regularly based on the current scenario presented. Absolutely loved it and - the first show I ever bought Merch from! Definitely one to watch if you like B Movie Horrors - and I say that in the most positive way possible!

Solid performance from the cast of the Night of the living dead. The over the top horror comedy was as funny as expected. A great spoof/homage of the original movie. But I felt that buying the more expensive tickets for the "Splatter area A" was an absolute waste... Yes, you get some drops of blood right at the end of the performance, but for the whole play I thought I was in a radio drama more than in a LIVE performace as I couldn't see most of the actions that took place BEHIND the wall of the audiece that paid slightly more expensive tickets to sit on the stage... Oh IF only, if only I would have save 20 quids I would have been seated upper in the theater and maybe I would have been able to see something. Would have I been willing to pay more for the privilege of being pranked during the performance and probably get neck pain in the constant attempt to turn awkwardly to see something happening right behind me? Probably not. Honestly the whole show would have been much better without the audience on the stage. If you like nostalgic monochrome shows I would recommend The Twilight Zone instead. Better balance of comedy and tension and a show that you can actually see and enjoy.

What a wonderful show this was. I nearly died laughing and joined the un-dead! Loved the merry-go-round of the "what if's" ending in a chorus of upbeat nostalgia taking me back to The Rocky Horror Show. It deserves a West End Stage just like Young Frankenstein had.
