  I saw many positive reviews but I wasn't expecting this to touch me in quite the way it did. Captivatingly honest. Spoke to my life as a person of 'colour'! This should be a permanent fixture in theaterland! Dx

  Absolutely outstanding, thought provoking, it really makes you think about racism and how people are treated. It is also hilarious in parts as it’s a comedy but a moving story nonetheless. This is the 2nd time I’ve seen this, it ends soon so grab tickets while you can.

  Interesting and thought provoking. I ended up disliking four of the five characters. Liberal virtue signalling at the expense of humanism. Wonderful acting from a fabulous cast.

  Saw 3 shows while in London and “Admissions” far exceeded Come from Away and Everybody...Jamie. Embarrassed we didnt see it in NYC. Wonderful performances. Seats a tad tight. View perfect.

  Admissions is a cleverly written play which brings out the issues of today and coats it with humour. The cast are amazing and Alex Kingston was made for that role and it was nice to see Sarah Hadland play a different type of role. Absolutely first class

  I go to the theatre often. But it is not often that I sit riveted in my seat. No shifting of legs, no sucking on a sweet, no constant sips of water in order to keep myself awake. This play, which takes on one of today’s pertinent issues, is funny and moving and thought-provoking. I am still living with Harmon’s fabulous characters and his brilliant dialogue. I am recommending this stunning production for all to see.

  We saw admissions on April 6th, as a birthday gift to our 15year old daughter. Apart from the quick description of the play, we had read no reviews so we did not know what to expect. My husband and I found the screenplay very strong, quick and witty and the acting by all of the actors superb. Kingston and Edelman were both amazingly natural in their roles but passionate at the same time. Especially in the final scene I was crying along with Kingston. Margot Leicester's character and acting was a blast and Hadland was very good as well. Edelman was a revelation. Although at times a bit jittery and on the edge, he delivered his character like a hurricane. AMAZING acting! Although it is intended to make one laugh (and it succeeds very well at that), it is equally thought provoking and controversial. We recommend it highly.

  I would have been interested to know what "a person of colour" would have made of this play but my friend and I - two white middle-class English women - enjoyed it. I am not sure that the change of heart of the young man was altogether plausible but that did not spoil the play for me. All the actors were excellent.

  The play is quick,witty and entertaining. The five actors all operated at a high level. The character of the teenage Charlie was well written and very well performed by Ben Edelman. The show is continuous (no change of scenery etc) and lasts for 1 hr 40 minutes with Alex K on stage for all of that time. It was a thought provoking piece of theatre.

  This is a must see play . Excellent performances from the entire cast . Dealing with at times a sensitive subject. Brilliant and at at times funny script , making the subject still serious but a fresh view at the same time . Highly recommended .

  Very well played. The subject is well connected with the reality. It is addressing discrimination, crazy level of absurdity of fight against discrimination, ipocrisy, parents opinions vs children view and ...nobody is right. Excellent.

  Unable to review as I did not attend. In A&E for most of that evening. I have lost my money on this show, but I'm hoping to catch it again within the next few months! I've given it 3 stars as it would be unfair to give 1/2 stars (as poor or bad) as well as giving it 4/5 stars (as good or excellent) so 3 stars is fair for someone who has not seen it as yet. Ossie.

  Brilliant representation of the challenges and issues faced by multicultural societies and the endeavour for fairness. Very insightful, demonstrated multiple points of views and portrayed in a manner which connected personally with the audience. Would highly recommend.

  The cast, story, dialogues are justly incredible! Time flys, you will laugh yet also face some political serious matters I loved it, one of the best shows I have seen!

  A well written brilliantly acted play that makes you really think about family relationships, do we stereotype people and why they succeed where we fail. A play that deserves a successful run and should be revived regularly to keep people thinking about themselves and others.

  A funny yet tough play, that doesn’t pull punches in its depiction of well-meaning but hypocritical white liberal academics attempting to right the wrongs of racism and sexism. Everyone in the cast was exceptional. Alex Kingston brought so many layers to her role, each event stripping away her hubris and arrogance. She was magnificent.

  Well executed and an interesting range of perspectives on the quota system and the impact it has from both sides of the debate. A good balance of humour and drama. Great ensemble cast. The content and the way it was explored will definitely trigger many discussions between my friends and I.
