Only Fools and Horses The Musical reviews
This is the second time seeing the show and really enjoyed it !
What a amazing show.
Very poor and amateurish production. Long elements of silence and use of old storyline. Very uncomfortable seating
Absolutely fabulous, a laugh from start to finish and the actors were spot on.
Lovely jubilee
The show was absolutely fantastic.the actors and actresses were all so alike the characters they played especially Rodney.full of laughs.would watch it again for sure.even if your not a fan of ofah its certainly worth seeing....Brilliant
Not often I go to a show and seriously consider leaving at the interval. I did last night. To me the show was a huge disappointment from start to finish, it is trying too hard to be naturally funny and fails miserably.
Fantastic entertainment laughed until I cried!
Enjoyed the show, the first half was a little slow and there could have been a bit more from Uncle Albert too.
It was brilliant all the way through we won't be forgetting the experience anytime soon. As one of his favourite things to watch on TV My partner absolutely loved seeing this for his birthday.
Due to the rail strike we were unable to see the show This being a birthday present very disappointed we were unable to be there Although taking cancellation we were unable to have money back or change dates as I was told we could get buses which having mobility issues and waiting for operation wouldn’t have been possible
Absolutely fabulous show. Didn’t think it was possible to make only fools and horses a musical but it worked. Just what we needed in these difficult time. Laughed non stop the actors were a brilliant cast and so like the tv show. Well done. Loved it
Not that funny and seemed a second rate production . More difficult after seeing the original , disappointing !
We had second row seats, which was a little too close. However, we had a great time, lots of laughs, the characters were fab, especially Roddy. It was a great story and a fab way to see all the old scenes. Must see show!
The show itself is amazing this is the 3rd time we have seen the show, this time was a Father’s Day gift and we came along with our parents, they enjoyed the show, however the staff that was in the royal circle in particular a girl with long brown hair was very rude and abrupt, we went to buy ice cream from a girl that was stood at the front and as my parents was getting the money ready the girl with the long hair came out of no where and said you need to leave I said we are just paying for ice cream to which she stated very rudely she has been stood here 20 minutes! But as my parents are elderly and had a que for the toilet and got back to the seat she was still here so bought ice cream from her the other girl then proceeded to give ice cream to the parents to then the other girl saying what flavours and gave totally the wrong flavour by this time it was embarrassing so just took what we didn’t want as she was causing a scene! Staff need to be spoken to on how to treat paying guest to watch a show that they have paid for! Totally unacceptable!
As an avid OFAH fan was my 2nd visit to the show absolutely loved it
I took my Dad as he loves only fools and horses and we were not disappointed. We had an amazing night full of joy and laughs.
I’m not sure if I’m just too much of a fan of the real thing, but just could not get into it. Was waiting for it to begin, the best part was the song at the beginning - the theme tune , but could not relate to the characters unfortunately and left at the interval . However have heard others who have loved it .
I felt unwell during the show, the staff were fantastic will me, cool packs to cool me down, cold ice water, then they lets us see end of the show in one of the boxes, checking on me right through the show. We didn't get any of there names, couldn't asked for better care. Thank you ladies you are the best. Xx
Brought back lots of memories. Great songs and acting. Difficult act to follow but did so well.
Wow.. what a fantastic show..laughed one hell of a lot.. great performers, a credit to your stage company.. I’ve already recommended it to several friends..
Where to even start? it is absolutely incredible from start to finish! The actors really did well to portray each character and really nailed each characters famous traits! The comedy was on point throughout the show, it included some new jokes and laughs but also the golden ones from the series! The songs were great, they really complimented the story line and gave a good laugh also! The atmosphere was impeccable to the point the audience were on their feet at the end! An absolutely amazing show!!! would highly reccomend!
Really uplifting and funny show. The cast were amazing.
It was very funny and well made a must see 👀 👌 You will not be disappointed you will be glad you saw it, And raise is the second time I have seen it.
What a great little show this was! Cast was brilliant, actors had the characters off to a tee, sets were amazing, couldn’t keep my eye off it and music was brilliant. I hope this show goes on the road next year, this time next year we could all be millionaires!
Great show funny and entertaining characters portrayed real and believable beautiful theatre . Overall and a great days entertainment.
Brilliant
Really good fun and uplifting. Fab acting - great night out.
I was a bit sceptical before going as someone had told me negative feedback but how wrong they were. The show was funny entertaining and interactive I just wanted to sing along very cleverly put together a real joy to watch. So glad I chose this show.
5 stars show ! Highly recommended
Was a present for my partner I wasn’t really sure on what to expect but we both loved it and come away saying what a lovely evening we had !
Very entertaining evening, really enjoyed it
Amazing show, all characters are exactly like the tv series Uplifting and funny, would highly recommend to anyone
Brilliant show loved every minute
Wow! Was a great evening. The cast, sets, music and pacing was spot on. Seeing the audience come alive was great. Brought back some fab memories
Was down in London for a few days for the queen rock band show at the 02 arena. So being big fans of only fools and horses. We decided to book the musical. What can I say it was amazing from start to finish. The whole cast was amazing, the original joke and lines. Rodney was soo good. The guy they played boycie was amazing had the perfect laugh and was just like the original. We laughed so much, didn't want it end. Would definitely recommend to everyone to watch. My only complaint is we didn't want it end. Great night Please tell the cast a Great big thank and a very well done. A+++++++++
The cast closely resembled the characters in the T.V. series in both looks and mannerisms with the exception of the actress playing Rachel who made up for this with talent , but whose costumes did not emphasis her attractiveness. The script over emphasised Del's slang which turned his character into a caricature of Del's T.V. persona. The plot was too all embracing and was therefore weak. With the exception of ' Only Fools & Horses' &'Going down to Margate' & 'Sort' the songs were poor and lacked energy and audience participation which would have immensely improved the show. Nevertheless an enjoyable evening.
Very good. Classic songs are great. Cast have all the traits of the original characters. Come away feeling happy.
Thoroughly enjoyed this show, and would certainly even go back and see it again.
Excellent show all the characters true to there on screen characters, loved every minute . well worth a watch
Exactly what we expected, all the classic bits put brilliantly to music. A very talented cast whose likeness to the characters they were playing was uncanny. I would love to go back to see it again as I am sure I missed some of the one liners. Brilliant.
Really enjoyed it really great actors especially the one that played Rodney, spot on. Definitely must see!!
I went to the matinee performance. It was fantastic some of the actors are so much like the real thing even sound like them trigger Marlene uncle Albert. Great seat. It was great I'm coming next Saturday June 11.
Very good very funny we really enjoyed it , The characters were really like the one in only fools and horse , I loved Rodney I thought he was very good
Blinding absolutely brilliant it's a must see
Highly recommend this show for all only fools fans
What a great show. Will be recommending to all my friends!
Absolutely loved it! The characters were spot on. My husband is a huge fan of the TV show and he moved it. We laughed from start to finish. Just brilliant. Would highly recommend even if you’re not a huge fan.
Fast paced, laugh a minute, knockabout comedy with lashings of drama, pathos and some fine singing and dancing. Not much to dislike tbh. It transports you back to 1989, to a simplier, unpretentioous world when we had greasy spoon cafes, dingy boozers, genuine market stalls and Delboys. True ,it's pretty predictable stuff, there is much reworking of the classic material, but it's a must for fans of the show. Just don't expect any new adventures for the Trotters, it's basically a reinterpretation of " Dates" and series six.
Wonder cast, fabulous cast, worth the money. Great night out
