What’s Only Fools and Horses The Musical about?
Stick a pony in your pocket – Britain’s favourite family is back! The world may have changed a lot since this lovely jubbly show hit the West End in 2019 - let alone since the Trotters first arrived in Peckham in 1981. But Del Boy, Rodney and the rest of the gang haven’t changed a bit…well, aside from the odd spontaneous bursting into song and tripping the light fantastic through Peckham Market!
The musical begins in reassuringly familiar territory, with Del Boy promising Rodney ‘This time next year, we’ll be millionaires.’ As soon as you hear that, you know we’re in for a treat! The show maintains perfect comedy timing throughout, with a flurry of classic catchphrases, quotes and familiar faces. All your favourite characters feature: Marlene and Boycie, Trigger, Mickey and Denzil all make an appearance in the Nags Head. Of course, the evening’s undoubted star turn is from Del Boy’s beaten-up Reliant, which steals the show every time!
Voted the number 1 British sitcom of all time by BBC viewers in a 2003 poll (beating Blackadder and the Vicar of Dibley into second and third place), this top-rated TV series holds a special place in the nation’s heart. Now, Jim Sullivan has teamed up with giant of comedy Paul Whitehouse to turn this iconic series into a British-born, gold-plated spectacular Musical Comedy. Pukka! With an original score by Sullivan and Whitehouse and additional music by John Sullivan & Chas Hodges (of Chas & Dave fame), tickets are selling fast! So don’t be a plonker, book today!

Only Fools and Horses The Musical reviews
I was sceptical about the play but booked it as an anniversary present for my husband who is a massive ofah fan. The play astonished me. It was phenominal! We loved every moment. A remarkable ensemble of humour,.music and classic moments. Brilliant.
What an absolute laugh this was, absolutely brilliant. The cast performed brilliantly, the way the sketches were thrown in. Brilliant. Would love to see it again
Just like watching an episode with all the great bits from over the years added in
Excellent you would think it was the original stars
Wondering what to expect from a musical aspect, only to be happily pleased with the outcome. A huge amount of Only Fools well known scenes and sayings were included, as in TV show, so audience invested in the show straight away. If you like Only Fools, I dont think you will be disappointed.
A must see!! If you loved the TV series you will love this show the actors were cast so well mostly had uncanny likeness to the originals their voices and mannerisms were brilliant and so so funny Loved it couldn't recommend it more.!!
The show definitely paid homage to the TV series. If you like that you’ll like this.
Excellent musical, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. All characters played their parts perfectly.
I booked for my other half's birthday who is a big fan and he loved it. Me and our 12 Yr old haven't seen many of the episodes and we still loved it. Was brilliant for all of us!
Absolutely brilliant show lots of laughs and great dedication to the original cast of only fools and horses I will loved to see the show again
Excellent show!
Took my partner as a birthday present & was both of our first West End show so nothing to compare it to but both throughly enjoyed it. The theatre was beautiful, the staff very helpful & the acting & singing was fantastic. We have the bug now & will definitely see another show & hopefully it'll be as good as this. If you get the chance go & see this, highly recommended.
Loved every moment, made us laugh out loud! A definite must see show & have already recommended it to friends & family.,
Absolutely brilliant! I grew up watching only fools and horses and it bought back so many memories. A must see!
Excellent performances by all the cast but especially Del, Boycie, Trig & Plonker! Very nostalgic bringing back happy memories of when tv show was at its peak. Only slight criticism is that it was sometimes difficult to hear all the lines, but aficionados will know most of it anyway!
If you are a fan of the tv show youll like it. If you havent seen the show youll miss the references. Like all west end shows its well cast with actors impersonating all the well known characters accurately. It's more of a vehicle for paying homage to iconic moments from the show, than a musical with a plot. Some clever rotating scenery and good if not rather dated 70s gags. Best song is the theme tune, and the whole thing hinges on Del Boy played superbly. We enjoyed the afternoon apart from being scrushed on the hot and sweaty central line in the way home. 😊
Best musical I have seen
The show was brilliant really funny but the down side to it in the theatre there was no air condition and felt very hot and my partner felt sleepy
Very entertaining show. Full of energy and familiar songs. Unfortunately some of the speech was a little unclear at times. Not sure if this was due to the speed with which it was spoken or the sound system, but didn’t spoil the show. Sadly I was sat behind a very tall man, who continued to lean forward and fidget, so some of the stage was obscured from my view. Thankfully he moved for the second half!! Definitely one to go and see though and recommend.
Brilliant musical, amazing cast, totally cosmic!
Absolutely loved it seen it 3 times now all the cast played parts really well funny del was pucker Rodney was spot on grandad was brilliant the whole cast did themselves proud well done to everyone involved who created this magnificent show hope to see it again before it finishes John Sullivan rip what a man👍👍
Fantastic show with first class performers. Funny and loved all the references to the TV episodes. Absolutely brilliant and would recommend to anyone.
Absolutely fantastic performances by every actor on the stage. The characters were so well cast. The storyline was brilliant. So funny. Such a great account of how I remember Only Fools and Horses to be. I laughed until I cried at certain points and I would go watch it again tomorrow if I could!! Loved it. Highly recommend it
Inflexible ticket return or postponement policy.. Theatre is very pretty and the access & greeting were good… The play was both a poor musical with few tunes and a poor comedy with few laughs .. Had difficulty hearing much of the actors oratory and several of the audience fell asleep..
Two different sets of friends recommended the show, it more than lived up to our expectations. It was such a good laugh in the same way we loved the TV Series. If you enjoyed the TV Series you will love the show.
The show was absolutely brilliant from the curtain rising. I don’t know how the casting was done but it was amazing. The cast resembled the tv characters so closely. If you closed your eyes the voices would make you think you were listening to the tv show. Every character should be given an award. This show will make everyone smile laugh & be happy, how they managed to fit all the characters and scenes that we all loved into the show is a triumph. Just book a ticket & go it’s fabulous.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Had me laughing lots. The whole crew played there part to a T. I have to say the one who also stood out was that guy who played about 4 different parts, including at the dating agency. He was outstanding. He played that exceptionally. Absolutely wonderful. I loved every part. Even the interaction with Del boy with me was nice. Thank you all. Very talented people
Lovely upgraded seats for me and my daughter, lovely staff. Absolutely brilliant cast, Rodney was spot on and hilarious. The original songs was well written with perfect delivery lines. All round good fun!!
This is a great show very enjoyable
Brilliant
This has to be the best show myself & my husband has ever seen, we have never laughed so much like we did watching the show, just what we needed after tge last couple of years , we have recommended it to all our friends & family
One word fantastic
Brilliant!!!
Very good all round cast plenty of laughs .
Great show thoroughly enjoyed myself
Great show, stays true to the TV series, great entertainment all round. Rodney's character was bloody brilliant!!
Great performances and very well put together
Me and my new wife came to London and so glad booked this show. Didn't dissapoint at all
From start to finish this was a fantastic evening, set in the small but stunning Haymarket theatre we were treated to the best entertainment. The cast were awesome, there was great audience interaction and we laughed and clapped all the way through. If you're an only fools fan you can't miss this!
I was upgraded to the Royal Circle which was the icing on the cake. The show is even better than three years ago, as the plot has been changed. It was funnier than ever, and very entertaining. The cast fitted seamlessly into the characters whom we all know and love. One of the best nights of my life
This is definitely a MUST SEE show. Catchy tunes, loads of laughter and enjoyment from the moment the curtain rises.. My sister and I already planning a return visit. Thanks for a great afternoon out.
What an amazing tribute to the best show ever. All the cast were fabulous but ‘Rodney was exceptional’
It was far the best show I have been to! My partner and myself enjoyed it very much, was funny and had everyone off their seats clapping and having fun! What a show. Would definitely go again!
Very good enjoyable show, worth going to see, lovely atmosphere and brilliant performances 👏
Good show, Rodney was exceptional. Lots of laughs through out. If you are a fun of the TV show definitely worth going to the show.
Absolutely brilliant. Whole cast was brilliant at the parts they played but especially Rodney!
We booked online in the afternoon that we intended on going. Quick & cheap tickets chosen. Therefore for £12 not expecting too much. Thankfully, we were thrilled with our seats & how superb the show was. Could have done with a few more Cockney songs for a 5 star review.
Fab show, great characters, good humour and all round entertainment 🤩
The show was absolutely fantastic, definitely worth going to see, best musical comedy I have seen in a long time, didn’t disappoint in anyway, plenty of laughs, the atmosphere was amazing x
