Mais ouis, mais ouis, the world may have changed a lot since 1981 when we first bid a jovial ‘au revoir’ to the Trotters of Peckham, but good ‘ol Del Boy, Rodney and the rest of the gang haven’t changed a bit... well, apart from the odd spontaneous bursting into song here, and the occasional dancing across the market, there.
The record-breaking and top-rated television series Only Fools and Horses undoubtedly holds a special place in the hearts of the British public. A true credit to the legend of OFAH for any fan of the Trotters!! Wasn’t sure how this would work but it was a couple of hours of superb entertainment and a brilliant tribute to John Sullivan’s Trotter family creation. The writers managed to cover many of the hilarious antics from the TV episodes and the actors recreated the characters so well that if you closed your eyes you would think that many of those on stage were the original stars! Highly recommended for any OFAH fan as it’s 5 star entertainment that will have you wiping away tears of laughter. It’s not just cushtie or pukker it’s brilliant!
What a show!!! Just like the original, much loved episodes of Only Fools, this show had us crying tears of laughter one minute and tears of emotion the next!!! An absolute masterclass by all of the cast, especially Paul Whitehouse whose performances as Grandad and Uncle Albert were the stuff of legend. We’d highly recommend this rip roaring, most British of shows to anybody.
Absolutely loved it. Entertaining from opening scene till the end. I even wouldn’t mind watching it again. All the cast were brilliant and set in a lovely theatre
If you liked Only fools and horses TV show you will love this, subtle references to famous events in the TV series with a brilliant stage cast and the songs were'nt bad either
Absolutely fantastic!! Enjoyed ever second!!! Totally recommend it!!
Rodney was played by Chris for this performance and he sounded exactly like the real Rodders! He was amazing! Trigger was also so real! The show was so funny and had plenty of references to the TV show, lots of funny bits and plenty to make you laugh, some fab songs ......especially holding back the years, the lady who started it off was incredible....such a voice! A must see for any OF&H fan
If you like the TV series you will love the theatre show.
The show was ok but it was all from the tv there were very few new gags so we knew what was coming. £150.00 a ticket was far to much for what it was
What a great performance! I loved the singing and all the scenes. Super energetic cast
As a die hard OFAH fan, I was sceptical as to whether this musical would ever be able to do the original show justice. However I was wrong to have such doubts. Everything from the actors to the sets was on point, and it was a great evening. A must see for all OFAH fans!
Great show - clever writing and brilliant performances! A must see!!
Beyond beyond amazing xx
Funny great very worth going to sse
One of the best we have ever seen
We went as a birthday treat, Don't expect it to be like the TV show, the show was very funny in places, but subtle in others, the actors who played the main characters were very good, kept the jokes going throughout the show. We enjoyed the show overall
Really great to see a theatre adaption done well. Funny, heartwarming fun. Loved it !
I have never been to a show that was so funny
What a brilliant production, cleverly done with so many important funny moments dropped in the show. Well done absolutely loved it.
Great acting, singing and dancing but not as funny as I thought it would be. Slow start but built to a very good finale.
Got to be seen ! Sat right at the back of the theatre very high up and all the actors appeared as if they were the original actors. They even all sounded the same as the originals. Very good production and hopefully back to see it again.
An incredible musical based on the iconic TV series. Very well written, performed and overall a masterpiece of its class. Humorous throughout.
Very well written, very funny and an excellent tribute to an amazing television series .
Brilliant show - thoroughly enjoyed it
Brilliant!!!!! The casting was great, no problem identifying the characters. Dancing, singing really got us in the mood of Peckam
I cried with laughter.
For me, Rodney was the star. Uncanny how he sounded like Nicholas Lyndhurst. The cast were fabulous. How they made this into a musical was genius no cosmic!
Great show. So many memories of all previous tv shows that means so much for my age group. Great cast and music. Del wonderful.
What can I say. This show is a must for any OFAH fan. Brilliantly put together along with pukka acting by the whole cast.
Bought tickets from your website in good faith at the beginning of the year. Traveled into London to find access to theatre blocked by organised parade in the capital. Unable to get through to the theatre on the day for advice. Now they are saying we should have gone to the box office on the day but that was impossible.
A great night of laughter and good old fashion fun brilliant show
We had a very good evening watching Only Fools and Horses. The cast were superb and the famous scenes from the tv series were all there. Would recommend to anyone.
The actors we so good that within minutes you forgot they weren't the original TV cast! The music was so fitting that even those who don't musicals will love it. It had so many of the classic jokes that it will keep you laughing right to the very last minute. I would 100% recommend it.
Fantastic show.....the cast were so good and close to the original characters ....pure magic
We had a very enjoyable evening watching this stage version of Only Fools And Horses! The staging and scenery were fantastic! Boycie, Marlene and Grandad were incredibly like the original characters! Del Boy (or should I say Derek Duvall) was superb! The music was great! We are massive Fools and Horses fans and were a bit worried that this show may not meet expectations, but the way many stories were mixed and matched with several lines from the original show was genius! Not to mention several new comedy moments which were equally as good as anything seen before! Look out towards the end for a couple of classic moment! Excellent night all round! Thank you Haymarket theatre for bringing this classic to us!!!!
Simply brilliant, cast was amazing and so true to the original genius. Paul Whitehouse as Grandad and Uncle Albert topped off a truly amazing and hilarious performance.... So good we’ve booked to do it all over again.
Ab fab! The show was amazing! 5 star plus! Credit to the whole production team! So funny. Belly laughs! The theatre was ornate and beautiful. Average bar prices. £5 glass of wine, allowed to take into your seat in plastic glass. Usual minimal loos for the era of the theatre. 3 ladies loos so a bit fraught at the intermission!! I'm also informed the gents were minimal for the size of the audience. But that's usual! Close to Picadilly tube. Its worth checking nothing major is happening at Trafalga Square which may delay your arrival at the theatre. Totally recommend
Amazing show would recommend
Outstanding casting was brilliant as were the subtle associations with the classic episodes we all love
Having booked months ago for my birthday treat, I've been waiting excitedly for the day. It was good but not great and I felt disappointed. The actors were brilliant, the set really good. I put my disappointment down to the storyline not being that good.
Absolutely fantastic. Wow. All actors brilliant would highly recommend.
Excellent performance had a great time lots of laughs and the actors were amazing got tickets for my partners Christmas present had to wait till July but we’ll worth the wait and money would highly recommended and definitely see again
Very good show cast was excellent.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I thought it worked very well as a musical incorporating all the classic moments especially the chandelier coming down at the end.
Anyone unsure whether to go and see @OFAHMusical or not... Do it. The character impressions are as close as you could get to the real thing and to fit 7 series worth of comedy into 2 hours is no mean feat. It's as funny as it is nostalgic!
Really enjoyed ourselves, if you love Only Fools and Horses you will love this musical! Very funny and really well written.
Simply awesome - had us in stitches throughout. Really enjoyed the old quips and the sets were great!
I booked this for my husband as he absolutely loves OF&H but I was sceptical. I knew he'd love it but I was unsure as it's not the real deal, right? And could anything compare? It totally blew us away. Haven't laughed so much, continually for a long time. It past in a blink of an eye. The cast we're amazing and any comparison I thought I'd draw was quickly forgotten as they pulled you in from the word go. One of the best musicals we've seen and we both highly recommend it.
