Very amusing- well acted- great set and lights _ also not all the audience looked like they lived in Islington!

absolutely excellent evening. Beautifully performed by the two separate casts and not connected in any way, except in both being extremely funny. So glad I saw it.

A Slight Ache showed its limitations as it was not intended for the stage. But being Pinter it provided enough surprises and reappraisals to keep the audience entranced by its strange shifts in meaning. The concept of the stranger who disrupts seemingly well-ordered lives continues with The Dumb Waiter. It’s an astonishing play with its burlesque humour and its dangerous undertow. The acting was top notch

The Dumb Waiter and A Slight Ache - two one act plays that are admirable for their acting displays. I still have my reservations about Harold Pinter as a playwright (sorry - it's having to think too much about the meaning and the ending!) but could not fault the acting. Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer made a convincing pair, but the lesser known John Heffernan and Gemma Whelan were just as brilliant.

Despite having 2 English degrees I must admit the extent of my knowledge about Harold Pinter was answering a question on him in my University Challenge audition! I wasn’t sure what to expect as I mainly came to watch the show as I am a huge fan of Danny Dyer. I wasn’t however disappointed. The first show of the 2, A Slight Ache, took me 2 attempts before I understood it fully but once I did was superb. Very dark and a fair few twists and turns. Very well acted. The Dumb Waiter was also superb. Danny Dyer and Martin Freeman played 2 fantastic roles with more than a hint of comedy. I watched the performances twice on consecutive nights and was very definitely entertained. Well done to everyone involved.

Fabulous evening but I felt the reviews I had read before going where wrong!! I felt the Slight Ache was the bettter performance and the Dumb Waiter a bit wishy washy. Unfortunately Mr Freeman and Mr Dyer played for laughs of which there where only a few!! Slight Ache was performed beautifully with real feeling and emotions.

You cannot fault the staging or any of the four performances in both of the one act plays cuŕently on at the Pinter Theatre just off of Leicester square. A slight Ache is gripping if not confusing and has tension as well as laugh out loud comedy moments. The Dumb waiter is expertly worked by Danny Dyer and the superb Martin Freeman who's timing and movement is impecable.

After seeing all of the Pinter plays so far Dumb Waiter and A Slight Ache are up there with my other favourites, Perfomances in both plays were great. I particularly enjoyed Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer, - the unspoken looks and actions were very comical. Thoroughly enjoyable.
