Snow White At The London Palladium reviews
An absolute brilliant show with established stars Nigel Havers absolutely hilarious Julian Clary outrageous but everyone more than played their part a brilliant Sunday afternoon especially as it was the last showing
I wondered in the first half what pantomime we had come to see as most of it was taken up by 2 people, the children in front of us were asking to go home they were bored only in the second half did we see the little people but there time on stage was less than they deserved as the story should have been about them and Snow White
We thought the costumes were fantastic and the sets. Julian Cleary was wonderful and definitely the star of the show.
This was the best night ever! As always Julian Clary was outstanding. So close to the edge with so many innuendos. In addition this year the fabulous Dawn French joined the cast. Such an enjoyable, fun and full of laughter evening.
Brilliant, funny with amazing costumes and dancing. Loved the ventriloquist, dancers and acrobats great afternoon 😊
I thought that the pantomime was brilliant loved Dawn French, Paul and Sam but was there any need to refer to Julian Clary’s sexuality all the time he was on stage. Was it the Julian Clary show? If you’re panto this year involves him I won’t be buying tickets
Amazing good
Fantastic show, I laughed from start to finish, Julian Calry and Dawn French were excellent along with the rest of the cast! The costumes were amazing, the whole thing was an absolute treat!
What a show had it all costumes, stage, entertainment and fun fun fun. Looking forward to this Chritsmas panto. Thanks to all the cast and crew
Spectacular musical show. Amazing visuals and Julian Clary does not disappoint. However I am a fan of old fashioned Pantos, and found this a little too theatrical for my taste.
As usual a very enjoyable performance lots of laughs, lovely costumes.
3 of us came to watch the pantomime and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Snow White was amazing sooo funny costumes were fantastic as was the scenery I loved the dragon brilliant Dawn French was Halrious as was Julian clary although I did think it was over done about the gay side wasn’t relevant to the show
Brilliant all the way through from the dawarfs to the height and sparkle of the wicked witch through to muddles absolutely laughter entertainment
A very lavish production, very enjoyable. Only criticism I would have is given there were young children in the audience, the level of smut from The magic mirror could have been reined in a bit!!!!
I’ve been to see The Palladium Pantomime for the past 3years and enjoyed each and every one of them but I think this year was the best yet!! Wonderful cast as always. Looking forward to booking a seat for the Christmas 2019 Panto!!
Absolutely fabulous panto brilliant cast so funny 😂 🤣😂 can’t wait for this years panto thank you London palladium
Very good!
One of my earliest memories is being taken to the Palladium to see Cliff Richard as Aladdin with Arthur Askey as Widow Twankey. I had a sudden urge to recreate this memory for three teenage nephews - little did I know that the wonderful performance of Snow White would create its own memories! What an amazing mixture of colour, light, dance, humour beautiful voices from the cast - and ready laughter and applause from the audience, both young and old...yes, there IS such a thing as magic.
what a fantastic show.............will book for next year
It was absoutly Outstanding
Loved every second. Left with my sides hurting from laughing so much.
Snow White itself was a brilliant funny quick witted Panto, that was only let down by our seats. We couldn’t see the top half of the stage. I can’t believe they actual sell you tickets for standing for a show that’s over two and a half hours long!!!
Laughed from the moment it started, brilliant show!
Best panto ever. I'm in my old age but you're never too old to have fun and enjoy what for me was an adults panto. Fantastic in every way. Loved the snow coming down and Nigel Havers jetting down from the ceiling and landing opposite my seat. I'll be back next year. terrific.
Great night full of laughter...... For all.... 😅🤣😂🤣😆😆😅
Brilliant in every way.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show, really fabulous costumes. Julian Cary is hilarious and Dawn French as well as Nigel Havers and ALL of the others too. And of course the excellent Vincent and Flavia, beautiful to watch them dance. Altogether a terrific event.
On the evening of Sat 12th January my husband and I attended a performance of Snow White starring the wonderful Julian Clary. Words cannot fully describe how much we enjoyed the show - it was spectacular from start to finish. Our seats were excellent (M13 & 14), the staging, music, costumes and 3D effects were incomparable. As for the actors/actresses, again words almost fail me! Dawn French, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers, Danielle Hope, Charlie Stemp, Vincent & Flavia and the magnificent 7 were all amazing, as was the chorus of singers, dancers and acrobats, but Gary Wilmot (incredible Palladium song) was a standout performance and what can I say about Julian Clary???? He is a force of nature, a comic genius, camp and glorious in everything he does, his costumes were mind boggling!!!!! All in all this was a night that will live long in the memory, thank you for such a wonderful evening.
The show was brilliant. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Have not laughed so much in ages. Could not fault any of the people on the stage.
One of the best ever pantos I’ve seen ! Fantastic cast , costumes and choreography..very funny and entertaining would definitely recommend seeing it ! Hopefully back next year !
The performance was very entertaining.
Absolutely fantastic, very funny and very entertaining all stars were brilliant
So so funny! Brilliant!! Yes rude but only when your own brain makes the connections! Most would go over children’s heads, though my 11 year old got a lot of them, we both really enjoyed it, a special experience, making happy memories.
This was by far the best Panto i have every seen & cant wait for the next panto
It was generally not a bad panto, Dawn French was brilliant as was Paul Zerdin. Julian Clary was a bit too predictable same jokes as last year. Snow White was instantly forgettable, the set design had more life to it! The costumes and dancers were brilliant, shame the 7 dwarfs had such a minimal amount of stage time considering they are pretty prevalent to the story of Snow White! Overall, not as good as previous years.
Absolutely great - Costumes , scenery and effects were truly exceptional. True 'feel good factor' for everyone. If anyone objected to Julian Clary's dialogue - they should know what to expect and perhaps not book tickets!! Gary Wilmot in particular should be congratulated on his input. Can't wait for next pantomime - we travel from Gloucester to attend - we think the performances are that good.
Absolutely fabulous, belly aching from start to finish. Julian Clary must of hadat least twelve costume changes, very colourful and full of laughter. A great way to start 2019. A must see before it finishes
Super day. My first Panto ever as I am American. Will be back every year now.
Excellent as always. Although I felt seeing it after Christmas some of the magic was lost for me. Loved the performances and Nigel Haver's glittery entrance with name in gold glitter. Laughed so much. Such a great tonic for January blues.
Loved it! Not sure I’d want to take children though as content was very adult.
Worth every penny. This is by far the best pantomime we have ever seen. We have two teens and an 8 yr old. Fun for all the family. Expertly delivered lines both rehearsed one and improvised ones. Even the actors couldn’t take themselves seriously. Julian Clary was spot on with all his inuendos throughout the show- we were in stitches! Dawn French was perfect for the evil queen. Nigel Havers provided light (easy on the eye for the slightly older generation) entertainment. Paul Zerdin and Gary Wilmot were sensational! I would definitely go again. What a fabulous way to spend time together as a family during the festive season.
Everything you could possibly imagine and then some - it was SO GOOD - I was crying with laughter, totally blown away by the sumptuous costumes and production pieces - there were puppets, vicars, dragons, dwarves, pyrotechnics, glitter, flying Nigels, so much sparkle, mess-ups and make-dos and I even cried. It was spectacular. I've never seen anything like it and I absolutely loved it.
We were held up in traffic and got to the theatre in time for the interval but weren’t allowed in .Most unfriendly and a waste of over £400 we had paid out in tickets. We would never return to this theatre again.
Absolutely fabulous. Brilliant cast, wonderful costumes. I had a smile on my face the whole time. Thank you
Excellent show with flamboyant costumes, terrific comedy, very good performances from everyone. But the seating in the grand circle was quite restrictive for my husband who is 6 ft. Other. Ladies I spoke to in the ladies said they had to sit on the stairs as their seats were too small and uncomfortable.
An excellent show entertaining from start to finish wonderful costumes and a great cast of stars
Snow White was so entertaining and brilliantly funny, the costumes were amazing and the cast were wonderful. Dawn French, Julian Clary, Nigel Havers & Gary at their very best, what's not to love about such a fun afternoon at the Palladium . It lifts you up to be so wonderfully entertained, thanks all . 😉
We come each year and have for the past 3 yrs and it just gets better every time. Amazingly funny 😂
Really well-staged and well-balanced production. Costumes and sets stunning and all actors working to a high standard - especially the ventriloquist who was outstanding. One criticism - we found the music and general sound levels (not the actors'voices) too loud.
