“She’s my best friend. God, I hate her.”
Don’t miss the killer musical Heathers when it turns The Other Palace into a colourful riot of 1980s nostalgia this June for a strictly limited eight-week run. Following a sell-out workshop in The Studio, this hilarious adaptation of the classic 1980s movie features sensational brand-new songs and stars Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Misérables, Addams Family Tour) as Veronica.
Greetings, salutations. Welcome to Westerberg High, where Veronica Sawyer is just another of the nobodies dreaming of a better day. But when she’s unexpectedly taken under the wings of the three beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers, her dreams of popularity finally start to come true. Until JD turns up, the mysterious teen rebel who teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it’s murder being a somebody…
Wickedly funny and with dazzling book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe, Heathers is based on the 1988 cult hit, that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, and produced by Bill Kenwright and Paul Taylor-Mills, the team behind the acclaimed stage adaptation of Carrie. With direction from Andy Fickman and electrifying choreography by Gary Lloyd, this is one class production you can’t afford to skip.
I've loved this musical for two years now and never did I ever think I'd ever get to see it, let alone a professional production! Lived up to and surpassed my high expectations! Cast were phenomenal-just as I imagined whilst still bringing something diferent to their roles. Seeing the show was my 'end of exams treat' and honestly I couldn't have asked for more!!!
I bought tickets as a treat for my girls and I must say this was a really great show .The atmosphere was fantastic and the cast were amazing with outstanding voices ,I would recommend this show .
Absolutely wonderful! I'm a HUGE Heathers fan and it completely surpassed my (very high) expectations. The cast were fantastic. I came out of the theatre wishing I could watch it again immediately!!
