What Is TINA About?

Rock legend Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards. Her live concerts have been seen by millions. She’s sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. But where did the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll get her start?

TINA, The Tina Turner Musical traces the rockstar from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way through to her transformation into an icon of the music world. Presented in association with Turner herself, this new musical tells the story of a woman who didn’t just break the rules, but rewrote them – defying the bounds of age, race, and gender time and time again.

I went to Tina the musical after seeing one of the songs performed on tv..the play itself is performed brilliantly by all cast members , I do have to say though the lead singer is outstanding .the play takes you through an emotional rollercoaster as you see Tina’s story.i don’t go to many plays but of the ones I have seen this is probably the best.i loved it and will go again
