Featuring her much-loved songs, TINA, The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd.
Don’t miss this world premiere playing at London’s Aldwych Theatre!
What Is TINA About?
Rock legend Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards. Her live concerts have been seen by millions. She’s sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. But where did the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll get her start?
TINA, The Tina Turner Musical traces the rockstar from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way through to her transformation into an icon of the music world. Presented in association with Turner herself, this new musical tells the story of a woman who didn’t just break the rules, but rewrote them – defying the bounds of age, race, and gender time and time again.

THE most amazing show i have EVER seen. The whole cast were fantastic but the 2 Tina's were just brilliant. A great connection with the audience and honestly, not one seated person at the end. A thoroughly well deserved standing ovation. I will definitely go again, and again, and again. Thank you for an amazing experience
Absolutely fantastic, a must-see show!
What a wonderful show! Fantastic performance in every way - music, dance and acting, stage sets, lighting, costumes! It was absolutely brilliant and a superb night out. Tina is one of my lifetime heroines and it was a privilege to see this musical theatre in honour of her life story and her career. Thank you to ALL involved. I absolutely loved it!
My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time at the Tina Turner Musical. The cast are first class we couldn't be happier. Well done to all involved.
This performance was incredible so strong
Fantastic night show was great really enjoyed our trip which was for my daughter's 30th Birthday we all had a fab time
Very good show the singing was spot on
The show is amazing, the cast are very talented and it had me gripped from start if you are thinking of booking definitely do you won’t be disappointed
OMG, WOW what a performance. What a powerful story of rags to riches. So well played by great performers who gave it their all. How they pull this off time after time with so much passion amazes me. The girl who played Tina was fantastic, out of this world a true star. The rest of the cast were stars also making the show so captivating. I was so disappointed when it finished I will be going again.
It was phenomenal my friends and myself thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s one of the best musicals I’ve been to Ava Brennan was amazing
Superb show. The lady playing Tina as an adult had an excellent voice and her ability to move like Tina was exceptional. The backing singers and dancers and backing band were all brilliant. The energy generated is amazing. Thoroughly recommend this show.
The best we’ve seen great energy non stop entertainment would watch this again
Captivating from beginning to end! Best musical I have ever seen
The show was brilliant, we didn't want it to finish
Brilliant night out. Belting cast
The cast of Tina the Musical were absolutely marvellous. They sang and danced with their heart and soul. A truly wonderful show.
We were visiting from Glasgow. What a fantastic show. The music was excellent and the singing was sensational. The actress who plays Tina as a little girl was soon good, such confidence for her age and what a voice. The actress who plays Tina as an adult was absolutely fantastic, her energy level is out of this world and her voice WOW!! Amazing. Well done to all involved this is a must see. I saw the film at the cinema many years ago and it was just as good at the theatre. Loved it. Xx
What a fantastic show. The music the singing was just sensational. Well done to all the cast, 'Tina' you have the most wonderful voice, and sounded just like Tina herself.
The show and cast members fantastic. Absolutely brilliant
A GREAT show and excellent performances. Maybe the second part of the show was a little bit lazy than the first one.
Absolutely amazing show from start to finish
Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the show, although sad in places it showed what an inspirational and determined woman Tina Turner is. Would highly recommend this show, the fast were brilliant.
Hi, The show was fantastic, the story line had pace but was very informative as to Tina's early life. The episode with Ike was very well portrayed showing (without being too graphic) the amount of abuse she suffered over the years with him. As the character grew through the story the music became more powerful and towards the it was like being at a Live Tina Turner concert absolutely amazing. Thank you
Saw the show on Saturday . It was fantastic , will definitely see it again . The only down side was the seating , The grand circle which we new leg room was a little tight and seats a bit on the small side , not ideal if you are a larger person as my husband had only half a seat due to the person next to him so the first half of the show he didn’t enjoy . Luckily I booked an aisle seat so we could swap seats !! Tickets price was 47.50 each which is pricey for those seats ,I could of got a box for 60 .00 each . the view to the stage was pretty good however I did put my glass on . Fab show
Greatest show on earth absolutely fantastic 10/10
This was more than Pop biop It could have been Tina Turner telling her own life story
Amazing show and experience from start to finish. Seats G1 & G2 in the dress circle provided excellent views. Had you gripped from start to finish with unbelievable vocal performances.
OMG!!!!! What a show!! The cast were fantastic, the way they portrayed Tina's life story, so real and so emotional an absolutely brilliant production, would recommend everyone to go and see it , we want to see it again.
Cant criticize the actor who played Tina, her voice was amazing which asks the question why isnt she a big star in her own right. Nor can I criticize the girl who played her as a kid, amazing. The rest of the cast were okay, but I have seen better. The theatre up in the Grand Circle was very hot, I had to leave after the second song on the pretext of going to the loo to cool down. When I came back in I was lucky to find a seat right by the exit which was a little better but still had to leave for a second time. Four ladies in front of me got up the dance only for the manager to tell them to sit down, they werent happy and walked out in disgust. So if you tend to get hot dont book the grand circle and dont dance until the end
Really enjoyable, excellent cast, all of them and the lead (Tina) fantastic. If you haven't yet seen it, go,go,go!
The life of Tina Turner. The lows and heartaches she went through to the highs of who we know her as. Simply the best!
Absolutely amazing show!
It was well worth the spend. Thoroughly enjoyed with good choreography and singing. Scenery was also top.
First time at theatre. Was apprehensive. But staff were outstanding and once the show began I was blown away. Brilliant even down to the biscuit m and m's. Cliché but simply the best!
The show was amazing! All of the actors were incredible. I could watch it 10 times over!
Music, singing, props and all of the cast were fantastic. Loved everything about it.
Thoroughly enjoyable show. Top draw. Tina is the Queen of Soul.
Excellent show and a true version of Tina's life. All characters extremely well portrayed. Excellent show and would thoroughly recommend it.
Simply the best!
Fantastic show, mesmerising performance. Aisha Jawando looked and sounded just like Tina. If the show tours UK we're hoping to see again up north.
Absolutely brilliant, best show I've seen so far by miles,
This was a lovely venue. This production was my very first Musical and a massive fan of Tina Turner and have known and read her life story. To say the least I am/was wildly impressed. I enjoyed so much I may want to relive this experience again. Thank you to the cast and the Venue staff.
Had a great time watching this show from start to finish brilliant cast a must see.
