Featuring her much-loved songs, TINA, The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd.
Don’t miss this world premiere playing at London’s Aldwych Theatre!
What Is TINA About?
Rock legend Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards. Her live concerts have been seen by millions. She’s sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. But where did the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll get her start?
TINA, The Tina Turner Musical traces the rockstar from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way through to her transformation into an icon of the music world. Presented in association with Turner herself, this new musical tells the story of a woman who didn’t just break the rules, but rewrote them – defying the bounds of age, race, and gender time and time again.

The best theatre performance I’ve ever seen. Amazing talent. Amazing performance.
All round fantastic show.Great acting, great vocals and the star of the show really is a star. Best show seen for a long time and will probably go again soon!!
Loved the show from start to finish. Shame you cannot show your purchased tickets on your mobile so had not printed them off beforehand.
This show really captivates the truth in tina turners life . it brings pain & strength and joy all in one show ...The cast are amazing Esp the little girl that plays young tina turner ..... its a must watch show
A fantastic show from the start to the pulsating ending, it was happy and sad and a fantastic story of Tina’s life. The best show that we have ever seen and we hope to be back for more
Very very poor, heard so much about how good it was supposed to be and come away very disappointed. Tina sounded like a very bad karrioke singer, the acting was wooden, lots of racist comments, way to much swearing and wife beating. I know this was a portrait of Tina’s life but we found the whole show very disappointing
Best show I’ve been to for years. The atmosphere was fantastic the singing was brilliant tears in my eyes at the end what a singer!
What a performance. Truly amazing. The whole cast are 5stars!!
Can’t tell you how much my nanny and I enjoyed the show and the staff that were there were very nice and very accommodating for my nanny who couldn’t walk very well. My favorite part was the fact that at the end of the show they got every one up for dancing and singing.
Of course, no one is Tina but Tina. But this woman can WAIL. She was a joy to watch. The script is not terribly well-written, but the music is Tina’s biggest hits and that more than makes up for the simplistic script. And when the show kicks into “Concert Mode” it is a “stand on your feet and scream your lungs out” 20 minutes of fun. We absolutely loved it.
A fabulous night of entertainment. Exhilarating!
Dynamic, engaging, emotional! Loved every minute!
Amazing. This wonderful musical took you through every emotion. I cried, laughed, was sad and angry but left feeling totally elated. Could watch it again and again and again......... Congratulations to the amazing cast.
I thought the production was first class, the band were excellent and the entire cast from Tina to dancers really excelled, money well spent.
Wow, what can I say apart from what an outstanding performance, the cast was amazing and gave 110% the whole way through, would definitely recommend and go back again.
The Tina story, You could tell they wanted too show so much detail into her life story but time was not on there side, But the way they done it was good, from child hood too fame, the timing of music is good the infamous songs that she sang are all there, the actress that plays tina shows all the enthusiasm and excitement, And wait until the last scene Awesome I will say no more !! 2hrs 45 A good day out.
Hope it comes to Australia ! One of the best endings to s musical I have ever seen. Held me from the morning Ute it started to the end. How they do 2 shows in a day is amazing. My congratulations to all involved 👏👏👏
Such an amazing show. Right from the opening scene it delivered a powerful message through an honest and emotional storyline.
Loved everything it’s a must watch
We eally enjoy the show. What a great night the show is worth much more than what we paid for.
Brilliant. The lead was outstanding. Would go again tomorrow
Fantastic Show. The cast were incredible. The best musical I have seen.
Absolutely an amazing show, very entertaining evening, I highly recommend it!
This Musical was and entertaining and passionate with great singing a must musical for everyone.
Fabulous show .... Thank you to everyone for a fantastic performance .....
Show was amazing our seats were great. The theatre is a little small but our view was still very good.
Absolutely excellent from start to finish, this is the second time I’ve been I just had to see it again ! The voices are mind blowing, made every hair stand on end
The show was excellent could not fault it in any way
I was sceptical about this as I was aware of parts of Tina’s story and I was also concerned about the standard of the songs. This delivered on every level and everyone on stage put their all into this show -and it paid off. Loved it! Layout of the theatre means you can have great sound and visuals wherever you are too :)
Booked tickets for Tina following amazing reviews from friends that had seen it this summer, so was really looking forward to the performance!!! What a fantastic night we had..... the most powerful and emotional show my friends and I had seen in a long time, if not ever..... and would all happily watch again!!
What a wonderfully acted and heartfelt story about Tina Turner. Not over the top but just the essential components of her life in a short amount of time. Well done all of you!
I've never been to see a show in a theatre before but my wife dragged me along and to be honest I'm glad she did. What a show
Wow, what a show. Beyond my expectations. Great music, great story and great cast. Tina Turner is a legend and inspiration to all.
Good all round, show really picked up towards the end finale.
A show that must not be missed. Brilliant from start to finish, well worth the time and money to see it.
It was an amazing show I will definitely recommend it .. Superb singing and great story
Understudy was Tina as the other 2 Tinas were sick. Was a waste of money as it did not feel like you was watching Tina like previous show I saw. Was mostly upset as this was a treat for my mums birthday. She didnt even realise the girl playing Tina was Tina. 60 pound train tickets to watch karaoke. The girl did well but sounds or looks nothing like Tina so you didnt feel like it was her story. Such a shame!
It was the best musical I’ve ever seen simply breathtaking wonderful singers sad in places but brilliant
The show was outstanding. Everything from the set to the performance was top top class
Having seen many shows this is by far the best ever. I came out feeling I had just seen tina turner live. Cast were outstanding. Not to be missed. Feel the need to see it again.
What an amazing show, what an amazing and inspiring woman. Go see it, I'll probably go again!!
Brilliantly done.. they production, music, story, actors.
Not many songs, story line weak, not worth £127.00
The show was sensational and the theatre is a classic, we had limited leg room and they mean limited leg room, if you are over 180cm do not book the limited leg room seats
