“There is a way to be good again”

Critically acclaimed The Kite Runner soars again in the West End!

Based on Khaled Hosseini’s international best-selling novel, this powerful story has been adapted into a stunning new stage production. A haunting tale of friendship which spans cultures and continents, it follows one man’s journey to confront his past and find redemption.

Afghanistan is a divided country on the verge of war and two childhood friends are about to be torn apart. It’s a beautiful afternoon in Kabul and the skies are full of the excitement and joy of a kite flying tournament. But neither Hassan or Amir can foresee the terrible incident which will shatter their lives forever.

Having captivated over 60,000 people at Wyndham’s Theatre and mesmerized audiences across the country, this unforgettable production will be flying high at the Playhouse Theatre for a strictly limited season from 8 June.

I've read the story & seen the film so hoped this would not disappoint. It didn't. It was superb! My heart was breaking, my stomach was in my mouth and I just wanted to reach out and hug the actors as the characters they were portraying. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Was a fantastic show, you are captured from the moment the drummer taps the drum!! First half is captivating but the second half is the emotional rollercoaster ride that you don't want to get off!
