  I've read the story & seen the film so hoped this would not disappoint. It didn't. It was superb! My heart was breaking, my stomach was in my mouth and I just wanted to reach out and hug the actors as the characters they were portraying. Breathtakingly beautiful.

  Was a fantastic show, you are captured from the moment the drummer taps the drum!! First half is captivating but the second half is the emotional rollercoaster ride that you don't want to get off!

  I enjoyed the book, & this play had the difficult job of interpreting it. This was an impressive production, producing something very true to the book.

  Great show! Lots of tragedy, some comedy, not to everyone's taste, as there are some sensitive topics touched upon. Very emotional situations, great adaptation on the book. I would highly recommend you go watch the show!

  This play was my first ever theater experience and i must say, it was amazing. The actors were utterly amazing and the use of real instruments made the play so traditional. I Loved it

  Everything from start to finish of this production was great. Upon arrival picking up tickets to being seated, staff were friendly, polite & helpful, show itself was great & an excellent adaptation of the book. Highly recommended.

  I booked last minute and went with a friend. We have both read the book and were definitely not disappointed. It was beautifully done and truly captured all the emotion of the book. Would recommend to everyone!

  The production team managed a superb job in taking the book to the stage. The acting was brilliant and the use of the screen to hide the unpleasant scenes was done with great sensitivity. We were very pleased to get tickets in the last few days.

  Great story! But the cast and director can't really take credit for that. I did enjoy it but it just made me want v to read the book again! Lots of emoting from the lead role. Aren't the audience meant to do that bit?? An enjoyable evening though, and an important story to be told.

  Small cosy theatre so seats all round are pretty great. The tiered seats are at a good height difference as you have no issues with people's heads coming in the way, like in some theatres. If you sit in row A DRESS CIRCLE, LEG ROOM IS GREAT! But you have to lean in a lot more to view the stage over the front rail.

  A very satisfying production that had everything needed for an evening's good entertainment. The musical, sound and lighting effects were excellent, the acting was superb. Really worth-while evening out

  What to say about Kite Runner. Fantastic adaptation of the book which stuck in the mind of all readers upon first reading. The story was told start to finish and would not have required prior knowledge of the book itself. In fact, listening to the reenactments reminded me how truly harrowing this story is but the most important take away from the play? John Wayne isn't Iranian!

  Awesome adaptation of the book! Great acting and performance by all. Non trivial matter, found it slightly strange that the main character didn't change outfits throughout the show whilst others did.

  Beyond my expectations, I found the production poignant and a tribute to one of my all time favorite books. The music added a depth and placed me straight in Afghanistan . The sets were excellent and the actors superb.

  This performance really took us by surprise. I booked our tickets hastily for my sisters birthday and did not get a chance to see reviews so was unsure what to expect. We were all pleasantly surprised and were moved through out the whole act. The cast were brilliant, the story line is amazing and kept taking lots of unexpected twists (we had previously read the book but a very long time ago so had forgotten most of it). The use of the stage was simple but effective. Have recommended it to others already. You won't be disappointed!

  Play was very well done with an almost non existent set. Live music a big plus. The acting was very good. The 2.5 hours passed very quickly. I would highly recommend.

  The Kite runner itself was a very engaging and emotional story. I was very thrilled by the quality of sound, role play of actors and how they engaged the public. I would definitely recommend it, and encourage people to read the book aswell.

  Well thought out and cleverly done play that gets its story across on the merit of its performers and production staff pretty much alone. No fancy props or high budgets here, and that suited the story. Very apt timeing.

  The narrative nature of the play might have worked if the actor cast as the main character had been better. It didn't, and the play was mediocre and didn't at all portray the level of emotion in the book or film. The storyline was rushed and there was little character development. You'd be better off listening to the audio book.

  I was immersed right at the beggining The atmosphere was so chilling and everything was pieced together so well. Not going to lie, i cried a little too much but the show was phenomenal. Acting skills were amazing and the venue was good. Definitely, without a doubt will return to watch it again.

  A simple story, imaginatively and well- told, of a young boy who carries throughout his life the shame and guilt of betraying his boyhood friend, until finding redemption in later life. Very moving resolution, powerful acting accompanied throughout by a soundtrack of subtle tabla playing. A good distilled adaption of the novel.

  A gripping and moving story, well delivered by the actors. Would definitely recommend it to others but would warn them that it's going to be a bit emotionally draining!

  A simply stunning story told by a compelling storyteller. Beautifully executed. Read the book . I loved it. Go see it immediately. Amazing cast and production. Character actors playing Amir and Hasan are world class.
