Brought to you by the Olivier-nominated team behind The Gruffalo, Wilde Creatures is a sparkling new musical adventure for everyone aged 5 to 105.

What Is Wilde Creatures About?

Let the Wilde Creatures take you on a fantastical journey through palaces, forests and beyond in this exciting new adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic fairy tales.

A live band of storytelling musicians bring characters from ‘The Happy Prince’, ‘The Nightingale and the Rose’ and ‘The Birthday of the Infanta’ to life, as they try to choose a new statue for the town square. Will it be the pompous Mayor, the haughty Princess or the love-sick Student?

Hauntingly beautiful tales with original live music, imaginative storytelling and a generous dash of comedy.

It was great fun from beginning to end. It appeals to young and not-so-young alike. At the show I went to there were many adults who had gone without children and they were clearly enjoying themselves just as much as the children in the audience. A great time.

A very enjoyable performance for all the family. Very much enjoyed the performance and the low tech and inventive use of props and scenery. The Actors were very entertaining and engaging. Some narration at start slightly drawn out but superb built up from there until the nice ending.
