The story was a little slow to develop but the 2nd half in particular was excellent. The acting performances were well executed and the county hall setting really does give you the feeling of being in an actual court. Well worth seeing if you want to be something slightly different to the norm and excellent acting.
We enjoyed every minute. I was absolutely involved from beginning to end. The acting was brilliant, all of them, but especially the poor victim. Perfect venue which made it even more realistic.
I have seen this production 4 times now and have enjoyed every occasion. An excellent show and well worth attending.
Excellent in every way
Excellent setting for this play. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance and impressed with the actors. Highly recommended and worth the money.
We knew the show would be good but weren’t expecting the fantastic performance we got and the atmosphere of the venue made the evening perfect
What a fantastic setting for a play, it was a pleasure from the moment we entered . Great storyline and a brilliant cast. Thanks for an enjoyable evening
Really enjoyed the play but my seat A7 did not have the best of views as some of the stage props that were moved onstage obscured my view. In addition I was unable to see the witness when being interrogated by the defence lawyer ( mainly) as he was in the way
Great play. Wonderful set and seats although the people on the front row seemed to be gazing at legs of the actors. So so cold in the theatre, advise a jacket or jumper.
Brilliant show. Really enjoyed it.
A stellar cast and performances. Simply brilliant!
A really enjoyable play at the county hall.Had a real courtroom feeling and you feel up close to the action.Excellent production
The setting for this play is perfect. The court room had the gravitas one would expect, even the scene changes incorporated this, so they had no intrusion and yet we were comfortably relaxed yet gripped by the excellent acting that allowed us to feel the strength of each emotion. I have to keep stopping myself for there is so much I coud reveal yet noting to reveal but excellence. Go watch and hear the brilliance of Agatha Christie and this production of it...... Y0ou will not be disappointed.
Lovely court room setting Audience participation Great day out Very comfortable sitting
Went to this after a friend went to see it. We absolutely enjoyed it. A fantastic evening out. The courtroom theatrics were sublime, the story line was good and had me and my partner talking about it on our way home dissecting the good parts. All in all highly recommended.
Superb acting, lots of twists that kept you on the edge of your seat. Made even better being performed in a court room.
This show is a must see. This was my 2nd time in seeing it and I would venture out to watch it again. The cast are all excellent in their roles & their characters believable. The show goes through many twists & turns, with the viewer never guessing the end result correctly. You'll be entertained from beginning to end. This is show not to be missed.
A thoroughly entertaining play that has you on the edge of your seat. If you want a show with atmosphere, this is the one for you. Immersed witthin the set of the Old Bailey Court room, you will become part of the jury trying to work out guilty or not guilty! An excellent experience which we both really enjoyed.
Took my husband for his birthday and he thought it was amazing. Setting and actors fabulous
Very good, great to see this type of play in a different setting. Great cast, I was immersed into the whole proceedings. Would recommend.
Really enjoyed, had great seat and also very comfortable, venue for show first rate
Best play I have seen for years
We loved it, actors were great
Great attention to detail. Fantastic acting by a superb cast. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Amazing setting and fabulous performance
Really enjoyed this show - atmosphere was great. Had excellent seats that were very comfortable.
Stunning venue. Brilliant action. Exciting pace. All in all a fabulous experience.
Obviously a great story by the best writer ever of crime fiction. Superb location too. A timeless classic performed by a very good ensemble cast.
This was so much fun! It was in a real court room and you got to experience it like you were watching the case. Lots of twists and turns. Definitely recommend, not sure if you would ever experience anything like this.
I’ve seen about 15 different Agatha Christie plays over the years and this is by far the best. Gripped me all the way through even though I knew the ending!!
A brilliant story acted extremely professionally by a great team of actors. The setting was very atmospheric and the set changes were executed well choreographed. Audience participation by the jury worked well.
This play was absolutely fantastic from the setting to the acting it had me on the edge of my seat. Simply RIVETING
Great show and performance definitely worth catching if your in London
The play was excellent brilliant location only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than is the seating in the gallery very uncomfortable
Thoroughly enjoyed this production in a very atmospheric setting, creatively set. Despite sitting high up heard every word.
Amazing show and had me gripped from the start! Couldn’t wait for the interval to be over to get back into the story zone. First time seeing a play and looking to book the next one. Actors were fantastic. Highly recommended to all friends and family. 5 ⭐️
Thoroughly enjoyed this show; (bonus that we got upgraded from cheapest seats to very nice ones!) Well worth a visit.
Setting was amazing. The four of us found the first half too heavy on dialogue and somewhat slow. We had good seats but it was difficult to understand what people were saying at times. In Honestly the first half was really boring. Second half was more interactive, dramatic and abit of humour injected. Overall disappointing and tickets were very expensive for quality of the show.
Absolutely amazing show and venue! Didn’t really know what to expect but certainly was not disappointed, and will be recommending it to everyone!
The show is phenomenal. Lots to follow and lots of twists and turns, classic Agatha Christie. The actors are brilliant, playing to every part of the room and the set design combined with suspenseful music was thrilling. Very much enjoyed it, in my opinion it rivals the Mousetrap. Highly recommend whilst you have the chance. Our only critique (aside from the london prices and the annoyance of drinking wine from a plastic glass), would be the theatre is very chilly. It's an old building so very much to be expected and we went at the end of February, so again somewhat expected - but it was cold.
Excellent performance!
An excellent performance in an inspired setting. Struggled with hearing some of the performance, particularly the more passionate speeches from seats quite close to the stage - words became quite blurred
Excellent production all round
Bit of a giveaway right from the start.
Wonderful night. Exciting all the way through. You absolutely feel part of the action.
A fantastic night out, the cast were amazing and the performance drew you in right from the start. A must see.
We had an excellent evening seeing this play - so clever to perform in a court room! Adds great atmosphere. Fabulous acting. Well worth seeing!
Brilliant. Amazing evening. Enjoyed the twist! But my lips are sealed 😄
Really enjoyed the play Have seen tv and film versions but still couldn’t remember the ending although I true Agatha Christie style lots of twists and turns Imaginative use of the building
