The Girls is the true story of the Yorkshire Calendar Girls - a group of ordinary ladies who achieved something extraordinary.

This new musical comedy has brought together the writing talents of Gary Barlow and Tim Firth who grew up in the same village in the North of England and have been friends for 25 years.

The Girls originally opened at The Grand Theatre in Leeds and The Lowry, Salford where it received standing ovations at every performance.

Thoroughly enjoyed the show from start to finish. Great cast. Very uplifting and emotional at the same time. Would thoroughly recommend.

I went to see this show because I knew someone in the support cast so a bit dutiful in a good way. But to my surprise the show was fabulous- absolutely delightful. It is witty in a laugh out loud way, moving and thoughtful and the music is great. Marvellous to see female leads of all ages and shapes, with a very strong cast across the board. If you have missed it on the West End - the tour should be on your 'must see' list. I will be going again!
