Dreamgirls

Thirty-five years after the groundbreaking original Broadway production, this UK and West End premiere of the sensational and iconic Tony Award®-winning musical DREAMGIRLS is now playing at the Savoy Theatre, London.

Featuring R&B classics such as ‘I Am Changing’, ‘One Night Only’ and ‘Dreamgirls’

With book and lyrics by Tom Eyen and music by Henry Krieger, Dreamgirls won six Tony Awards when it opened on Broadway over three decades ago and has more recently been adapted into an Academy Award-winning film starring Beyoncé Knowles and Jennifer Hudson.

Set in America in the 1960s, Dreamgirls tells the story of a trio of young women singers called The Dreams. The musical follows the group’s stormy journey from their hometown of Chicago up the greasy pole of success and celebrity.

Tony and Olivier Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin, Something Rotten!) directs and choreographs the London production of the ground-breaking show, staying faithful to a lot of the original choreography by Michael Bennett (A Chorus Line).

A smash hit in waiting, don’t miss your chance to experience the compelling story, iconic music and incredible dance moves of Dreamgirls, book your tickets today!

Amazing show, stunning singing, sets and costumes. One of the best we have ever seen. Great tickets at the front for a fraction of the cost thanks to using tickets for schools.
