The War Of The Worlds

Jeff Wayne’s multi-award-winning musical version of The War of the Worlds makes its West End debut and world stage première this February.

The original album for Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds is the best-selling musical work in history and the arena show was a critical and popular sensation, touring internationally for over eight years. One of the most astonishing, innovative and epic musicals of all time, The War of the Worlds has now been reimagined for the stage.

Based on the iconic science fiction story by H. G. Wells and adapted by Doreen Wayne, The War of the Worlds tells the story of Earth’s invasion by Martians. Merciless and highly intelligent, the Martians arrive with one goal in mind: the defeat of the human race.

With brand-new music conducted live on stage by Jeff Wayne himself, The War of the Worlds features an incredible cast (including superstar Liam Neeson appearing in 3D holography), the classic Martian Fighting Machine and dazzling special effects.

Playing for a strictly limited run at London’s Dominion Theatre, this spectacular and unique musical is sure to sell out fast. Book your The War of the Worlds tickets today.

The only theatre production we have ever walked out of! Apart from the orchestra and conductor, who were excellent , the performance was amateur, without depth and substance. We were a party of 8 determined to enjoy a birthday treat but not one of us wanted to return after the interval. We were among dozens of other people we spoke to as we left who felt the same . We were amazed and bitterly disappointed and would not hesitate to persuade others not to waste their money!
