Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games showcases exciting and ground-breaking new technology, world champion acrobats and the greatest team of Irish Dancers the world has seen.
The cast at the Playhouse Theatre will be led by James Keegan and Morgan Comer, who have both won every major title in competitive Irish Dance. They were hand-picked and trained by Flatley himself and have starred in the West End and UK touring shows of Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games. Michael Flatley, who has recently retired from UK performances, is excited to hand over the reins to such talented performers. The score is composed by Gerard Fahy.
Flatley said, “I’m delighted that London has once again welcomed us so warmly, and to be able to extend the show’s run by moving to the very beautiful Playhouse Theatre makes me feel immensely proud of what we’ve achieved. I am delighted for my dancers that they can continue to perform in this great city.”

The show was ok. What I was able to see of it. The people on the front row of the upper circle were leaning forward onto the balustrade and so I was only able to see about a third of the stage. After the first couple of dances it was all a bit repeated and the 'Lord of the dance' was a bit up him self I thought.

The dancers were excellent, but the storyline was confusing and not what I expected having seen other Riverdance productions. The stage background was projected and there were none of the usual changes of scenery, instead it was like having a large tv screen in the background with scenes of horses running, forests and waterfalls, as well as others scenes that were like playing a game on X-box in garish colours. This detracted from the evident skill of the cast. We paid full price for the tickets and to be honest, it was not worth the money.

Really? This storyline was a bit comical......not sure who the froglike creature was meant to be but her particular dance routines were unimpressive. The step dancing was fine.....a bit repetitive but the musical score was just awful. Thanks be to god that I got the tickets heavily discounted!

I was expecting to see very traditional Irish dance with lots of sound and fast fancy footwork. It was this in part but there was far too much distracting video projections, repetitive flute playing which was mimed and a bizarre alien storyline? Glad I did not pay for a top priced ticket. I have seen better dance at half the price.

Excellent show for every minute. The only problem was not knowing the theatre and the seats in the upper circle were terrible.

This was an absolutely fantastic show and I loved every minute of it. Everything about it was great. The dancers were exceptional and I loved the male lead. The costumes also were brilliant - loved the 'baddy' ones. The backdrop was very good as well. All in all an extremely entertaining show. I would definitely go to see the show again. When I came out of the theatre I was humming 'Dance, Dance' - I always think this is the sign of a Great Show!!!

Wow really is the first word that comes to mind. It was fabulous!! The best show I have ever seen and the dancers are truly outstanding - a mind blowing show and I don't have enough good words to say about it. A must see!!!
