WICKED, the West End and Broadway musical sensation, is already the 9th longest running musical in London theatre history. Winner of over 100 major awards, including three Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and ten theatregoer-voted WhatsOnStage Awards (winning ‘Best West End Show’ on three separate occasions), the classic musical has now been seen by almost 10 million people in London alone.
‘Packed with wit, storming songs and beautiful costumes’ (The Guardian), WICKED imagines an ingenious backstory and future possibilities to the lives of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ and reveals the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely University friends on their journey to becomingGlinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Transporting audiences to a stunningly re-imagined world of Oz, this unforgettable musical features stunning costumes, spectacular sets and show-stopping songs in a night of spellbinding theatrical magic.
In this fantastic retelling of the classic story, the green-skinned Elphaba is a well-meaning outcast with a heightened sense of justice, while the popular Glinda has a need to feel liked and admired. The two meet in school, where their friendship and their lives take a number of startling turns in a rather short time.
It was excellent both my friend and I enjoyed it, we came to the theatre instead of buying each other a Christmas present, thank you.
Really enjoyed the whole show.amazing singers dancers and costumes. The theartre was goid and nice and clean with good facilities . We had great seats And a really good time
This was truly spectacular. First class production. Performances. Costumes. Music and everyone was helpful. Has changed my mind about wizard of oz. I am not saying?
absolutely breathtaking the music, costumes just the best night out
The best show I’ve seen so far. Loved it. Production & performers were just amazing.
I took my daughter to see the show for Christmas. The music, performers and set was all very well done and I think that even with us sitting very close to the back we had a pretty amazing view. Story-wise I felt that it didn't really kick off until the second half, where I was almost in tears ( because it arrested my heart in a good way) . I loved the way it paid homage to ' The Wizard of Oz'. My daughter really enjoyed it too. :)
Superb production with excellent cast and wonderful set
My daughters first theatre production and wow what a wonderful experience it was amazing we all loved the Apollo the staff were amazing, the show itself was one of the best I’ve seen. Spectacular! Now my daughter is hooked on theatre and I’m booking the next show up as we speak! I thank everyone for a wonderful experience. Keep doing what you do. Everyone.
We had a wonderful time with all the family, and all thoroughly enjoyed Wicked
Amazing! They're all great
It was my birthday treat. N what a treat it was. My little girls still singing it 2days later. Top quality singing, and the dancers are on point. 😁👍
We were situated behind two people who I believe had learning difficulties. They talked and shouted loudly throughout the show as a result my daughter and I left the show at 2150 hrs, unable to tolerate it any further
Fabulous seats in an amazing old theatre. The voices of the cast filled the whole theatre, beautiful voices. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anybody. My 6 year old granddaughter was hanging off of her booster seat the whole way through
I think the storyline was very clever and all the songs were sung to perfection. I would 100% go again but the seats were a bit far from the stage and no cup holders. Not at all hand when you have to hold a drink and binoculars at the same time .
We went a family of four for my daughter 16th birthday and even my son who is 14 loved it. It is one not to be missed
I went with my 18 year old daughter (it was part of her birthday present). Why did I wait so long? It was absolutely brilliant! We both loved it! I would definitely recommend it and will go to see it again soon.
The show was awsome.
Absolutely amazing production
Absolutely amazing!! Couldn’t have imagined it any better!
It was a good experience overall, the acting was brilliang but some songs too long and a little dull. The story was moving and the characters very well portrayed. If given the chance, a person should watch it.
I have seen wicked 3 times however this time was the best performance I have seen! Flawless such talented singers and performances! Would highly recommend to everyone!
Wickedly delicious show!
Took my partner as a 30th birthday treat and we weren’t let down, absolutely fantastic show loved every minute of it
I took my friend so see this for her 20th birthday and we both thought the show was absolutely amazing, the costumes, the lights, the performers...100% one of the best shows ive seen and worth every penny
The costumes and the sets were amazing. And the leading ladies had phenomenal voices. It is was what makes the London West End musicals the best in the world. Highly recommend.
This is a fresh and enjoyable production...the two leads were strong and fun to watch...
What a show, what a venue, amazing amazing amazing... GO! Just flown home and kids already asking when they can go again. Loved. Every. Minute
Absolutely fantastic performance. I was completely blown away
I love the show and have seen it already on broadway. This time around, the pour seats didn't allow for a really good experience.
This was an excellent production with a twist. Very inexpensive and easy to get to. Seating was superb, no matter where you sit I believe you would still have an excellent view. I would recommend ‘Wicked’ to all.
My third time seeing wicked and it still never disappoints. Love the show so much. Brilliant cast. It’s so hard to not sing along too.
Absolutely fantastically beautiful
Went to apollo in shafesbury avenue. Almost miss performance. Missed first 30 minutes. Very disappointed. MUST POINT OUT IT IS VICTORIA APOLLO !!! Sending a complain in now
Amazing evening at wicked. Performers were unreal! Recommend 10/10
Wasn’t sure about this show but decided to go see what it was all about during our trip to London. I was totally won over. It was absolutely amazing. The cast were incredible as were the costumes and secret. Loved every minute of it
Absolutely superb, would happily watch it again, great seats and lovely atmosphere
2nd time seeing the show. It's really good. I love it.
Enjoyed Wicked even though I’m not a fan of The Wizard of Oz. Both witches were great singers. Nice theatre. Fantastic costumes. Expensive drinks.
Was such a good show from beginning to end! None of it was boring or slow and the story line was brilliant and thought of everything! There was humour which made it so enjoyable! Suited our 9 year old daughter as well.
Show was brilliant great scenes and cast were brilliant. Costumes superb and singing was phenomenal. Only slight criticism was the whole show was quiet long and break could have been arranged to occur a bit sooner.
We missed seeing some of the munchkins, and there were a few things I thought did not have the emotional depth it should have. 1 example was the goat professor Baahhhhing. Just sort of emotionally flat. The music was extremely well performed. Overall I enjoyed it but didn't think it was as good as the show on Broadway.
Excelent all round show
Unbelievable show such talented performers and great effects
Even we watched it in a terrible place, the show is glamorious.
