Les Misérables has been on stage for twenty-nine years. It is the longest running musical on the West End and has won more awards than can be listed here. More people have seen the musical worldwide than the entire population of the UK. A lot more. Les Misérables tickets are still selling out and the cast continues to play to a packed house. The enduring brilliance of this now legendary musical cannot be denied.
Adapted from the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Misérables is an epic tale of love lost and found, sacrifice, redemption and the human spirit. The action is set in nineteenth-century revolutionary France where ex-convict Jean Valjean has been hunted for decades by the merciless policeman Javert after he breaks his parole. However, when Valjean takes on the care of Cosette, the young daughter of factory worker Fantine, everything changes.
With music composed by Claude-Michel Schönberg and libretto by Alain Boubil, this is a sung-through musical of extraordinary imaginative power and musical prowess. Now at London’s Queens Theatre, the sets and costumes add to the incredible sense of drama and scale. The frenetic revolutionary setting is truly brought to life and the stirring music, with songs including ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ and ‘Do You Hear the People Sing’, is given a fitting space in which to thrill and move the audience.
This was my fourth time seeing Les Miserables over the last fifteen years and it did not disappoint. The performance was outstanding with an extremely talented cast.
What an amazing show. From begining end i was captivated. Acting, singing, production all amazing. This is a must see show!!!
Absolutely fantastic evenings entertainment. Disappointed that Michael Ball and Alfie Bow were nor performing as advertised but nonetheless, brilliant performances by all the cast.
The cast were really good and so as the orchestra team who played awesomely! Will definitely watch again in London or in my own country! Thank you!
I’ve seen Les Miserables probably 5 or 6 times over the years. Each production has been excellent. Saturday afternoon’s production was also superb. He last song never fails to make me cry!

Why do they sing so much
Have seen show many times and despite seats with restricted view this was the best vocal cast we have ever heard.
Amazing performance. Amazing voices. Delivered emotions very effectively. An excellent time at the theatre.
Amazing show . Would see it over and over again
We had such a lovely evening watching Les Miserables, very moving and fantastic voices.
Yet again a little tear jerking and goose bump performance!! Fabulous!!!!
I was disappointed not to see any of the 4 stars advertised on the press release
Second time seeing it. The most amazing voices I’ve heard in my life
This was by far the best broadway play I have seen, and I have seen many. The talent in this cast is unbelievable. I have seen les miserable a few times before, but I don’t believe any performance will compare with this. Everyone agrees, this was one of the best things we did in London.
Excellent production. Fantastic vocals, costume and props. Would go again
This is Our 10th time at Queens, just love it more every time we see it! Please don’t change the format!
An incredible show that moved me to tears several times. Standing ovation from the audience at the end.
Just breathtaking, highest end professionalism throughout. We took our kids, ages 10 and 12, and i would recommend leaving at the (late) intermission-- it is a LONG show and part 2 is much slower and harder to follow. Depends on your kids though!! I think the length and complexity was rough on my kids. I LOVED IT!!!
Watched the performance on wed afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed it although sad and emotional in parts All the acts were fantastic and gave 100% through out . Will recommend to my family and friends as it's a must see show. Will be going when you open again in dec .
Such an amazing production. Got goosebumps with the amazing performances!

Amazing musical, I've seen it twice and can't wait to see it a 3rd time!! An amazing and very talented cast as well.
The sets were and special effects were well done and not overdone. The whole performance remained interesting and engaging. The quality of singing was first rate.
Excellent performance, enjoyed every minute. The whole cast gave their all, their singing and acting was amazing. The stage sets, sounds and visual effects and lighting made the story come to life. A performance which will stay with us for ever.
Absolutely fantastic. This is my 16 year old son's all time favourite musical even though it was his first time seeing live. This musical inspired my son to pursue a career in musical theatre and it did not disappoint. The Cast is amazing! At stage door they were all very happy to pose for selfies, my son was over the moon!
It was actually my first visit to a west end show. I couldn't ask for more talented actors, helpful staff and a fabulous experience.
Wonderful theatre, fantastic music and a cast to match. To see a whole audience rise as one to applaud is worth a visit on its own. Will visit again.
Absolutely brilliant and fantastic was this show. The music, the acting the clarity. It is first class and not one to be missed. I can fully understand why it has been running for almost 34 years and it is one I would go to see again
My theatre heart is crying and leaping in inexplicable ecstasy. Personally (and don't hate me for this), I say that no other musical could simply live up to Les Misérables. The cast were exceptional and I loved it when they all came together in chorus, with perfect harmonies that send chills all over the spine- we even get to meet some of them after the show! Though I've always loved Fantine, Eponine, and Cosette, I instantly became a Jean Valjean bias, with the latter having delivered such a powerful performance all throughout the show. The songs were just too nostalgically beautiful since I've been listening to them way back grade school days. I could go on and on about how incomparable this musical is, but I'd rather suggest you go see it for yourself. Again, a great tick off my bucketlist! #LesMisérablesWestEnd #theatresofLondon 😍♥️💯
Everything about this performance of Les Mis was exceptional. Just the opening bars alone gave me goose bumps and the impact of the performers continued that experience. I was completely lost in the show and didn't want it to end. I feel everyone in the theater felt the same as they gave a standing ovation. Simply stunning.
I absolutely loved the show. It made me laugh and cry. The music was great and the singers all had lovely voices, especially Daniel Chisnall. His voice was stunning. The whole cast got a standing ovation, with Daniel getting the biggest cheer. Les Miserables is a must anyone thinking of going book tickets now you will not regret it.
It was an unbelievable experience from beginning to end. Well worth the visit from Ireland. Congrats to the cast and the producers. Truly magniticent
This was the second time I’ve been lucky enough to see Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre and I have to say I was more impressed than ever. The cast, the stage sets and the incredible singing brought me to tears yet again. This is without doubt the best live show ever!!!
