Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

The West End musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's Charlie and The Chocolate Factory is now showing at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane, directed by Academy Award-winner Sam Mendes.

It’s a dream come true for Charlie and his family when Charlie wins one of five golden tickets to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. But beyond the gates, the five competition winners get more than they bargained for…

The ingenuity that has gone into the extraordinary effects in this darkly comic musical is clear to see. Through incredible stagecraft each of the factory’s rooms boasts its own bizarre surprises and an army of squirrels, a flying glass box and a crowd of Oompa-Loompas await Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ticket holders.

With a book by David Greig, lyrics by Grammy Award winners Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman and music by Marc Shaiman, Sam Mendes has created a thrilling extravaganza that still manages to capture the heart of Roald Dahl’s story. Book your tickets today!
