Room on the Broom

Join the Witch and her cat on their mission to defeat the dragon in Tall Stories’ magical, musical adaptation of the classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

The Witch and her cat are travelling on their broomstick when they pick up some hitch-hikers - a friendly dog, a beautiful green bird and a crazy frog. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and - CRACK - it snaps in two... just as the hungry dragon appears!

Songs, laughs and scary fun for children aged 3 and up and their grown-ups, in the Olivier Award nominated show that’s toured Britain and the world!

  • Outstanding performance!

    14 January 2019

My toddler absolutely loved the show and we had a "Room on the Broom" reincarnations at our house ever since :-) Huge thank you from my little daughter to the Witch and the Cat and the Frog and the Dog and the Bird who's definitely "still got it"!

  • Entertaining

    14 January 2019

A wonderful show, using all the best theatre trickery and creativity of a four man show. My 6 yr olds only criticism was that the witches hat should have been pointier!

  • Happy Hattie

    12 January 2019

Booked to take my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to see the show as part of her Christmas gifts. She was mesmerised loved every minute of the show, joined in with all the appropriate parts even clapping while the cast sang. She came out asking when our next show is. My only criticism is the inappropriate snack selections, small loo cubicals when you have little ones to help. I felt I was in magician mode fit in them

  • Excellent a must see Adults and Children

    8 January 2019

It's an incredibly great book to read but the 1 hour show is excellent, very innovative, creative, uplifting, funny and good humour for both adults and children. We took my 3 and a half daughter (who never sits still) but she was mismerised and loved all the characters. The costumes and the actors and actresses were amazing. Would highly recommend and have now booked The Gruffalo.
