‘Cats sit on mats, hares sit on chairs, mules sit on stools, gophers sit on sofas and frogs sit on logs’
Are you sitting comfortably? It’s a new day at Sittingbottom school and FROG is looking for a place to sit, but CAT has other ideas and DOG is doing as he’s told. Little do any of them know that chaos is coming... Who knew there were so many rhyming rules and what will happen when FROG is in charge? Original music, songs, puppets, laughs and more rhymes than you can shake a chime at! Created for the stage by Emma Earle, Zoe Squire, Luke Bateman and Richy Hughes. Kenny Wax Family Entertainment presents the premiere of Oi Frog & Friends! the highly anticipated stage show which brings together Kes Gray and Jim Field’s bestselling and award-winning picture books Oi Frog!, Oi Dog! and Oi Cat! into one action-packed musical production.
We took our 4 year old grand daughter and we all enjoyed the show very much. Her Mum said that she has not stopped talking about it.
Fabulous fun, from start to finish. The whole family, from 3 to 43, were enraptured from start to finish and the storyline energetically encompassed the stories and characters from the Oi series. Go see!
Unlike so many productions for younger kids it did not feel like they were stretching out the story. Very cleverly done, engaging and entertaining!
Very good performance!
My 4 year old daughter loved it. Great show and if your child knows the book Even better. There’s some audience participation which was great too. I would highly recommend this show!
We missed the show as tickets were booked at Lyric Theatre, London and I assumed this was the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith. I didn’t know there was another a Lyric. I think the information was unclear. The full address should have been provided. London was not specific enough. Huge disappointment for children and loss of money for me. Any chance of compensation?
This was a great show. However we went with our 3 and half year old who also loved it. However some parts were to loud and the dog sitting on the frog upset him. This was a great show but just be aware some kids will get scared at points or find it over whelming.
