Sister Act The Musical reviews
This show was fantastic. Great singing and incredible energy throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed the show
Excellent show thoroughly enjoyed it. Beautiful theater to.
Quite simply the best musical I have ever seen ♥️♥️♥️
Great show, fabulous cast and great evening had by all.
Fantastic to see a musical interpretation of the film and what powerful vocals from the lead female character. Also the policeman was a great performance. Jennifer Saunders is one of my heroes, fantastic to see her on the stage but why did they ask her to sing? I didn't find it funny just embarrassing.
Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.
Omg absolutely Brilliant
Just amazing and uplifting to watch such an energetic and outstanding performance by everyone involved!!! We want to go again!!!!
Very good but due to copyright restrictions a lot of the songs you are used to in the film are not used in the show
What an amazing show! Beverly Knight was brilliant as was Jennifer Saunders funny as ever! Thoroughly recommend it to anyone, very uplifting!
All the cast were absolutely brilliant! Such a fun evening!
Fantastic cast, high energy, funny and brilliant vocals by Beverley Knight.
We both absolutely loved the show. Had us laughing and dancing in our seats from the start. Some brilliant vocals. Would definately see again.
Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩 Amazing 🤩
I'd say that it was worth the two years of waiting. Beverley Knight was excellent as Deloris with vocal prowess to match. Although there were a few changes made (i.e. time period and setting), it kept to the overall vibe of the original movie -- hilarious lines and upbeat music, almost 'sacrilegious' but all in good fun. It was nostalgic to me as someone who loved the original film. It's a shame that the music from the film didn't make it to the musical for copyright reasons --- those were classic and memorable ones that I'd forever associated with why the movie was a huge success. Nevertheless, the original songs in the musical were in the same theme and achieved the vibe of the film and its storyline. Great choice for a fun feel-good laugh out loud night-out at the theatre.
Great show, the right amount of funny bits. Songs were great. The casting was spot on. All round feel good performance, shame it had to end.
Absolutely brilliant. Fantastic cast. Really uplifting. Would highly recommend.

Possibly the most uplifting musical I’ve seen. The comedy, the talent, the staging are all outstanding. Please go and see it if you can!!!
Wonderful show - brilliant throughout and all the cast did not disappoint. I’ve seen many top shows and musicals and this is the best I’ve seen. Singing and acting was superb and full of humour. Would definitely see again!

We had waited 2 years for this performance and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing performances by Beverly Knight and Jennifer Saunders. The evening was full of joy, laughter, song and dance. A great experience.
Fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Great onstage chemistry between Jennifer Saunders and Beverley Knight. Pity it's a short run. I would pay money to go see it again. It is that good.
Fully enjoyed Sister Act and every member of the cast did an amazing job! Glad that it was such an uplifter in these challenging times. Songs written were GREAT!

Sister act is up in the top three of the 60 musicals we have seen! Brilliant!
Great show! Telling everyone they need to go
The show is very enjoyable, however different from the original movie: the story is set in the '70 instead of the '90 and there are none of the songs that made the movie great, so don't expect "my guy", "salve regina" or the iconic "I will follow him". I was none the wiser and therefore I was rather disappointed.
Fantastic show ,absolutely we loved it
Great stage adaptation of the film. Catchy song, very funny and well acted. Great performances by established stars but also some stage stealing moments by newer names. Great value for money, want to see it again
Absolutely mind blowing show, one of the best evenings experienced for a long time! Production & direction is brilliant, as is the cast performance, particularly the stunning Clive Rowe, who combines his fantastic voice with delightfully humorous acting, and the wonderful Beverley Knight.
If you’re looking to have a good time with some great voices and a bit of comedy, this musical will be perfect for you. Beverley Knight is so impressive, her voice is amazing as well as the other actors.
Our night out to see sister act was good production was great. Cast played the roles so well. had a great night at the theatre.
Sister Act is an amazing show. The music, singing and cast absolutely knock out. Beverly Knight still has the voice and Jennifer Saunders provides the comedy. The cast are fantastic and some of the singing voices will surprise you with some great surprises. This is a must show to see. Well dine cast and crew for a great show
Mother Superior role beefed up - and terrific. Jennifer Saunders’ comic timing is brilliant. Beverley belts… The 3 Amigos - hilarious & ‘clever’. And the Trainee Nun (!) brings depth, poignancy and brilliance. Cast overall is fantastic ; weakest link the Monsignor. Hammersmith Apollo is an excellent venue ; roomy and appropriate facilities.
It was amazing both Jennifer Saunders and Beverly Knight were sensational. All the cast were fantastic in their own way and the singers were wonderful. It was so good and everyone had a standing ovation at the end. Absolutely wonderful experience witha magnificent cast.
A fantastic show and a brilliant cast we enjoyed it so much . Great songs and sets
We really enjoyed the show. The total performance was awesome. Beverley Knight in the lead role was just superb and what a great voice still. Colourful and fun stage setting too.
The singing was fantastic
We’ve been waiting for almost 3 years for this! It lived up to expectations and beyond! It’s a fantastic fabulously camp production that is very true to the movie! The finale is so catchy that you’ll find yourself on your feet dancing along! Beverley Knight steals the show as Deloris - what a fabulous amazing singer. Lizzie Bea was a gem to watch as Mary Roberts. Who knew a show about nuns would be so entertaining!
Great energy from all the cast , including the stars and the chorus. Beverley Knight was awesome.
Due to the extreme temperatures and government advice to not travel unless essential and all the trains cancelled into London, we were not able to go to the show! Am awaiting to hear back on this matter as I'm sure 100s would not have been able to get there!
