Roy Chubby Brown
Roy Chubby Brown
He’s the UK’s most outrageous comedian – telling it as it is in his rudest and most controversial show to date.
Roy Chubby Brown returns to Viva for his 5th consecutive season – as Blackpool as ‘Fish & Chips’ and ‘Blackpool Rock’, come and see Chubby at his finest – up close and personal and packing in the crowds. If you are easily offended – please stay away. This is not like our usual 'Vegas' production shows, this is a no holds barred stand-up comedy show from one of the most outragrous comics Britain has ever seen. Definitely not for the faint hearted this show is too rude for TV! Politically incorrect!
Roy's special guest band perform for the first half of the show, with Roy taking to the stage for the whole second half. It's a full night out, with a show lasting for around 2 and a half hours with an interval – your whole evening is sorted!

Left feeling slightly disappointed. Not with Chubby, by the reaction of the audience he was as good as he always is but with the venue. Be careful where you sit is all I can advise. We booked 2 seats on a round table and on arrival I was impressed. The venue seemed nice, clean and the staff were all attentive and our seats were positioned perfectly with a clear view of the stage, it was clear to say we were happy and looking forward to the show starting. But just before the show started we got to realise who we were sharing our table with. Eight lads arrived, very loud, very drunk and obviously not there to sit back and enjoy the show. It was announced to be quiet whist the show was on our of respect for chubby and the audience but I’m afraid these lads didn’t have any respect. Right from the start they just talked and shouted through it, even chubby could hear them on the stage. They were asked on several occasions to keep the noise down by the security staff and chubby in his sarcastic humour but this just egged then on more becoming abusive. In the end me and my husband got up and moved seats but as it was busy the seats were near the back. After a whole of all this going on the main ring leader Got asked to leave which he didn’t do quietly and then one by one they eventually all got up and left but not without causing a scene on the way out erupting into a fight and smashing glasses. Once they had left, me and my husband returned to the seats we had paid for but by then we had missed the whole show apart from the last song. Chubby couldn’t stop apologising to the audience and I felt it didn’t just spoil it for us but for him aswell. The funny thing is we didn’t receive apology of any member of staff there, not even the security staff that we expressed our concerns to early on when we got up to move seats. It says a lot when the man that you paid to see took it upon himself to apologise and it wasn’t his fault. This could of been resolved a lot sooner but instead we paid for a show that we didn’t even get to hear a word off.

Missed half of his show, couldnt hear him because of ignorant people talking loudly on tables either side of ours. Surrounded by drunks shouting wildly.Chubby tried himself to shut them up.Doorstaff tried keeping place quiet, threw a number if louts out.Wouldnt go again unless was right at front.Shame because what i managed to hear was hilarious
