‘The most important cultural experience in theatre right now’ - BBC
In a playful, profound and unique take on modern life, Misty is a powerful lyrical journey through the heart and soul of inner-city London. Accompanied by a pulsating original score, Arinzé (Girl from the North Country, Lion King, One Night in Miami) grapples with everything from night bus arguments to life as an artist loaded with others’ expectations. Arinzé has set the bar very high for any future one man show. 100% energy, commitment, talent.... everything!

One the most vibrant and vital pieces of theatre that's ever been produced in and about London and performed by an amazing cast. Arinze in the lead was simply incredible all singing, rapping, performing and acting tour-de-force!

What an amazing show. Arinze's passion shown through his physicality, music etc. I would definitely recommend this show.

The play was very cleverly and intentionally written. Kene brought an insane level of energy and body movement to the show, keeping all eyes glued to him throughout the duration. However, it seemed to fall apart with a very weak ending and what was ultimately a sadly surface level examination of gentrification. Definitely worth seeing but it didn't live up to the hype.

Absolutely Brilliant! A must see play for all - any age, any ethnicity, any socio-economic group! Definitely one for the younger generation, especially if they have not yet experienced Theatre before! Arinze is highly inspirational and changing/creating a new pathways for real stories that reflect real people from different communities across London. The one man show is a true testimony to how talented Arinze is not only as an Actor but also as a Writer.

so much energy, so many shifts of time and place- such terrific play. Clever, mad, funny, moving. Music, set, sound, text- all excellent. Subverts ' the black canon in fee-art-ah' and holds a different light to blackness in London life and on stage. Highly recommended. Hugely entertaining. Endlessly surprising

If you want to see a totally diverse audience - age, race, gender, class - you can't go far wrong with Misty. After it's sold out run at the Bush Theatre, this is a very worthy transfer to Trafalgar Studios, and I don't doubt it will be incredibly successful. The piece itself manages to be powerful, moving, funny, saddening and thought-provoking all at once. Don't make the mistake of thinking this is an 'urban play', this is so much more. It explores what that idea even means, and the responsibilities of an artist in writing something that might be interpreted as such. This is the second time I've seen Misty. This time I brought a couple of friends. I would happily go back again with more - it's a show that needs to be seen widely. And I'm glad that seems to be the audience it's getting.

I found this event to be extremely boring, they say a constantly changing stage that was not the chase the music more like poetry lacked something

I'm a perfectionist, and I rarely if ever rate things more than 8.5, most likely less than 5 in the last 7 years... but this, for me, was a 10/10 on ALL fronts.
