PINTER THREE - Landscape / A Kind of Alaska / Monologue

Gain priority booking access to BETRAYAL when booking this show - go to the Good To Know section below for details.

Landscape and A Kind of Alaska, directed by Jamie Lloyd, are spellbinding evocations of loneliness, isolation and the strange mists of time.

Landscape is a minimalist marvel: a woman is locked in a beautiful memory and her husband demands to be heard. In A Kind of Alaska, Deborah awakes from a twenty-nine-year sleep and is suspended between the conscious and unconscious worlds.

Lee Evans will perform the poignant Monologue and a selection of Pinter’s most hilarious comedy sketches, including the sketch Apart From That, with Meera Syal

Close friend and long-term Pinter collaborator Penelope Wilton will make 12 special guest appearances from 19 November, performing the witty monologue Tess, written for her by Pinter.

Cast includes Keith Allen, Lee Evans, Tamsin Greig and Meera Syal

Excellent show, everyone was superb and Lee Evans was brilliant, he made the audience laugh just by being on stage. A truly funny guy. Wish he was still doing stand up.

Wow - just wow! Tamsin was absolutely fabulous in both Landscape and A Kind Of Alaska. They were all good, but the way Tamsin acted was (as I first wrote in this review) just wow! Pinter Three is not a comedy show. Sure, some of the shorter sketches are. But all have a deeper meaning. I see some reviewers complain that they found it too slow. They seem to be expecting Friday night comedy. Then they have come to the wrong show. If you have the chance to go see this before it ends, definitely go for it!!
