Olivia Vinall and Edward Hogg take the roles of Rosalind and Orlando, with Keziah Joseph and Beruce Khan in the roles of Celia and Oliver. Danny Kirrane plays Touchstone with Maureen Beattie as Jaques.
With original music by former ‘Noah and Whale’ frontman Charlie Fink, also joining the cast are Amy Booth-Steel (Audrey/Singer), Me’sha Bryan (Amiens/Singer), Joanne McGuinness (Phoebe/Singer), Jacade Simpson (Silvius/Singer), Jack Beale (Le Beau/Actor Musician) and Silas Wyatt-Barke (William/Actor Musician).
Completing the cast are: Simon Armstrong (Duke Fredrick/Duke Senior), Gary Lilburn (Adam/Martext), Kristian Phillips (Charles the Wrestler/Jaques De Boys) and John Stahl (Corin).

WEATHER
Every theatre performance is unique, but this is especially the case at the Open Air Theatre where both the stage and entire auditorium are uncovered.
Each visit can be distinctly different as the weather and light spontaneously interact with the play. Warm or cool, clear or overcast, the point at which dusk turns to night, being outdoors adds a thrilling contribution to our work and is an integral part of your experience here. Some of our audience's favourite memories have been of the sun breaking through the clouds during the show whilst some of the most electric performances happen in the wake of rainfall.
It's best to come prepared for all types of weather: bringing your own shade in the afternoon is particularly important as is a jumper for the end of evening performances. So sun hats, sun cream, sunglasses, raincoats and rain hats should all be considered. Although the vast majority of performances are completed each year, as the auditorium and stage are completely uncovered, we may have to stop and re-start the show.
On rare occasions, it will not be possible for us to complete the performance, but we will never cancel a performance before the advertised start time. This is because you would be amazed how often it can rain all day and then clear up just in time for the action to start and indeed, how localised bad weather can be. Also we really don't want to disappoint anyone - audiences or our actors (who are always keen to perform, if at all possible).
Please note that films and one-off live music and comedy shows are never cancelled because of the weather.

The most perfect and contemporary re-creation of As You Like It, personally resonating with the urban rubbish spaces and the green outback. Bought tickets for my Dad and I as a gift. He said it was one of the best plays he has ever seen. And the setting did not disappoint either. Fantastic evening, brilliant performance. Would 100% return to the open air theatre !

Went to see this great show with my wife. A generally young cast.. with some older heads. Luckily our seat was on the right hand side of the theatre... in the shade.. the other side looked hot & one lady did faint. Neither my wife or I were familiar with the play but it was presented in such a way that we easily understood the complex plot. A great afternoon entertainment. Food was good too.. especially smoked salmon & sausage roll.

Gender-bending is fine. The presence and removal of rubbish was - well, rubbish. But overall the production was lively and held the attention.

Good acting and good set, but hard to see the connection between the litter strewn business area of the first scene and the ramshackle hill-billy style setting for the remainder of the play. Yes, pollution is everywhere, but this seemed to say it was acceptable or that nothing should be done about it? strange, not sure how it fitted in. Some comic moments and a good night out!

The outdoor experience was very nice and different, especially in the beautiful Regent's park. The fact that it is outdoors is well used in the show's set (Although the colorful poster displayed is not representative of what actually happens). Also, being a Shakespear play, it is only for advanced English speakers as the adaptation did not simplify the English very significantly. The actors were very talented. It is fairly funny although could be funnier.
