DIVORCED. BEHEADED. LIVE IN CONCERT!
From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII finally take the mic to tell their tale, remixing five hundred years of her-storical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of sisterly sass-itude.
Following last year’s sell out pop-concert musical, SIX returns triumphantly to the Arts Theatre powered by an all-female band.
★★★★★ "This show is perfection" - Everything Theatre
The show was spectacular and my daughter had a great time also got to meet two of the queens and they were very lovely. Great atmosphere good service all round great evening.
I booked to see this show as a birthday treat for myself, as a friend of mine said it was great. Really entertaining from start to finish. The Queens and their Ladies in waiting were fantastic. Highly recommend going to see this Show.
Me and my daughter attended six the musical, with the wind and rain bellowing. But whilst watching the show we forgot all about it, all the girls including the musicians were amazing, and didn’t want it to finish. Well done girls, keep up the good work. X
Really fun, great songs and wonderful actresses!
I have now booked my third set of tickets to see Six... and I left Hamilton at the interval!
Really enjoyed the show, entertaining, funny, clever lyrics and sassy.
Loved, loved, loved it!
I didn't know what to expect. I love history but went for my daughter. The singing was breathtakingly beautiful and the live band amazing. Costumes, atmosphere and dancing was absolutely brilliant. The history was very tastefully done. Would love to go again.
Six was brilliant!! The singing was amazing. Shame it was so short!!
I am an artist with 30 years experience singing and dancing in the Uk and abroad I took my daughter who introduced me to 'Six' It was absolutely brilliant !!!! I loved the show and the context of the whole story The voices of the wives are outstanding, the female band were talented musicians, the costumes choreography and production were faultless. All in all a great show to watch - I highly recommend!!
Refreshing change from most drawn-out musicals! It was fun and fast paced with no interval. Performers had incredible voices and great stage presence. Would recommend to anyone for a fun, entertaining evening out.
Simple but interesting concept.
This show was fantastic from beginning to end. Even my husband enjoyed it and he is not a big fan of Theatre.
One of the best shows I’ve ever seen! Loved it soooo much! Would highly recommend to everyone. Very educational, extremely funny and the songs were great. It stands out from other musicals because it’s different but it is still very good. The cast and band are soooo talented. The theatre is small so you can see everything really well and you sit close to the stage no matter where your seats are. Definitely would go and see it again.
Brilliant performance and production. Highly recommend Six.
I loved every bit! Six of me and my friends went (bit ironic) and were in the front row. Ur neck doesn’t hurt from looking up and the tickets werent that expensive so id recommend trying to get front row. The only thing that hurt was my face from smiling too much. Their vocals, dancing, acting! It was hilarious and fun and sad all at the same time! Definitely one of my favourite musicals and i will 100% go again!
Must see show. funny, entertaining, informative, thought provoking from start to end. The Six all have incredible singing voices which left goosebumps after each performance. 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Witty story line, catchy songs, amazing acting and breathtaking singing!!
A great uplifting and empowering show, delving a little deeper into the six wives of Henry VIII. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
Absolutely fabulous. Took my daughter & 9yr old granddaughter (her birthday treat) We all loved this energetic show a modern twist musical on the six wives of Henry the eight. My granddaughter knows all the words to the songs and was singing along. The cast were amazing to sign her program when they came out, which made if even more special. Thanks for a fab night.
First time to the Arts Theatre. Tiny little place but made it so much more fun! The girls were fab, great singers, very funny and an interesting way of making history fun! Hope to see it on tour!
I booked tickets for SIX the musical for my friends birthday, we went last night and wow it did not disappoint! It was so entertaining, the queens voices were incredible and we laughed so hard. There’s lots of innuendos! If you need cheering up, go and see it!
Compact venue with lively, friendly atmosphere. As there is no interval can take drinks into performance. toilet provision is limited so go prepared to cue quite a bit Fantastic performances by all, with great audience engagement A great night out
Brilliant.... great costumes, funky music, amazing choreography ..... loved it !
What a brilliant performance, we sat on the balcony to the side of the stage it says restricted view but the front row definitely isn't, the girls are great and the songs are soo catchy, we are still singing them a week later. If you get a chance to see them on tour you should, we certainly will be.
My fourth time seeing this fabulous show.
A must see! We had an amazing evening, the tickets were a Christmas pressie from daughters age 15 and 9years who had been listening to the soundtrack and were desperate to see it, it didn't disappoint
These ladies made history fun for me! Original music, cozy setting and lively choreography make for a great night out!!
My granddaughter (15) and I loved the show. It was feisty, fast and funny whilst making the point that women had very little say in what happened to them in Henry 8th time.
Amazing atmosphere, the girls are so talented, the vocals were amazing . They really conveyed the emotion in the songs yet kept it upbeat . There costumes look amazing and brilliantly designed, and the production was incredible.
Absolutely amazing show from start to finish.we travelled over from Ireland as a 16th birthday present for my daughter.we had front row seats and the icing on the cake was when Danielle took her phone onstage to record!!
Such an uplifting musical!! Loved the entire show, would definitely see it again!
Brilliant show! Lively, colourful, great singing all round entertainment! Loved it, thanks.
This is the second time we have been to see Six. First time we sat in the slip seats which had a great view and this time in the front row. Anne of Cleves made me get up and dance with her which was fun but embarrassing. The show is absolutely fantastic and would want to go again and again.
Absolutely great, enjoyed it from the first minute to the last. We had a smile on our faces all the way through
Fantastic performance from truly talented ladies!
Fantastic as always... Even though new tutors it was a great show. I bought a friend Fife her birthday and she loved it.
Loved the music. Loved the words. Loved the performance. Such energy, humour and just great entertainment. So clever!
I love this show! Well acted and performed by an all-girl cast and band. Very catchy dance-pop songs on the theme of Henry VIII's six wives as a girl group! I do hope this musical doesn't fade into obscurity.
Absolutely outstanding!! The girls can sing ! Fun, entertaining, educational, just brilliant 👍
Fab afternoon for me and 2 eleven year olds. The show was packed and everyone was on their feet Music great and a fun girl band Good entertainment, clever words and slick. Highly recommend
Even if you are not a fan of musicals - you will like this one
I saw this with my sister on 09/01/2019, were sat on the very front row. Honestly, we were blown away with it all. The music and script are both fantastically written, the cast & band are all incredibly talented, and the stage space was really well used! I can see why this show's garnered such a following, and deserves as much high praise as it gets. If you haven't seen it, and are considering getting tickets, get them! You won't regret it!
This is a brilliant musical and you really should consider seeing it. On stage there are the six wives and four musicians. There are no costume or scenery changes. Right from the off I was engrossed. The wives sing and dance constantly. They do not wear Tudor costumes, instead contemporary design, similar but each has their own identity. I wondered at first how I was supposed to know who was each wife but this became clear very soon. The Arts Theatre where this was held is quite small, about 350 people but this made it all the better. The facial expressions and movement of the wives was amazing and I think it would not have the same impact in a large theatre. My wife and I wondered if it would all be lost if you did not know who each wife was and what happened to them as this is historically correct. Only one disappointment. It finished too soon, at a little under 90 minutes. Maybe it would loose it’s impact if it was longer.
Absolutely loved this. Cast were brilliant, amazing voices. And the lyrics/ script was excellent. Great music you can really get behind. Great performance all round.
I went to this show last night at the Arts these in London’s West End and it was glorious! So we’ll done - very impressed with it!
Had no preconceptions or any idea of what to expect and was completely blown away - we’ll done girls you are BRILL 🤩
I took my 14 year old daughter for her birthday she had been going on for months and months about this show. Wasn’t sure what to expect but omg is all I can say is it was amazing totally amazing from the costumes to the singing, the six girls were all fantastic singers, the band was awesome and I really need a pair of those sparkly boots they were awesome thank you so much for a brilliant performance.
Really enjoyed the show! The ladies were amazing!!!
