DIVORCED. BEHEADED. LIVE IN CONCERT!
From Tudor queens to pop princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII finally take the mic to tell their tale, remixing five hundred years of her-storical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of sisterly sass-itude.
Following last year’s sell out pop-concert musical, SIX returns triumphantly to the Arts Theatre powered by an all-female band.
★★★★★ "This show is perfection" - Everything Theatre
Well my daughter has been singing these songs for months, so as a treat for finishing her exams I surprised her. Last night was amazing. Each voice outstanding, all so different. We will be coming again.
The show was amazing . The cast were lovely and were more than happy to take pictures after the show . After seeing the actors in other musicals I couldn’t wait to see them in this . I have never see as good show as this . Would definitely go again .👍
What a show.....amazing performances from the cast, high energy and great fun. We left the theatre buzzing and wanting more! The venue was great, felt like you were part of the show. Will definitely go and see Six again!
Spice girls with a Tudor twist !
I had the most amazing time six is a must see after watching I'm already planning my next trip to London to see it again the music and humor was brilliant I highly recommend
Brilliant lyrics, brilliant music, bursting with energy.
I was absolutely blown away and the performance exceeded all my expectations. I want to go again! The vocals and band were phenomenal. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
Henry VIII wives story will never ever be the same again! History revamped with 6 sexy sassy clever fun talented ladies / the theatre rocked, the queens rocked and the audience rocked with them - love love love loved it if I could afford it I would watch them every night brilliantly executed and very cleverly written with a very modern vibe positively FABTASTIC and empowering xxx
What a wonderful show! My daughter and I had such fun, totally recommend going x
Daughters 15th birthday trip turned out to be great night for all the family. Great atmosphere, fully of energy well worth the price, already looking to book again.
Excellent entertainment from start to finish. We travelled down from Scotland to see it and were not disappointed. Sheer brilliance. Thoroughly recommend to everyone.
Great fun lots of historical facts woven in. Music singing and lyrics brilliant . Will come again
SIX opens with the audience going completely mad. At a guess, they've seen it before. So that's slightly off-putting but at the same time fits the idea that this is a very successful pop group doing a gig. Thus it took a while to win this 69-year-old over; at least three numbers. But Jameia Richard-Noel was exceptional as Catherine of Aragon at least until Millie O'Connell took the torch as Anne Boleyn etc etc etc. (I could name the whole dazzling cast and the band too...) Discussing it with the friend I went with our reactions were identical -- slight alienation to begin with and leaping to our feet with the rest of the packed house at the end. The quiet development of a plot against the history that we sort-of know is almost invisible until you realise you've been watching it all the time. The music sounds very very contemporary (though what would I know...) but never at the expense of the oh-so-quietly-brilliant lyrics. WOW. (As I put it on Facebook.)
Myself, my 12 &16 yr old girls loved the show. really good fun story with a great message for modern girls. The actresses were so talented and engaged with the audience with the great songs and music. We would come back and see this again in a heartbeat! Thankyou x
Brilliant show amazing cast best 75 mins spent in a theatre in a long time believe the hype it is totally true would recommend anyone to see this show
This was a brilliant show with very catchy tunes and really funny. Loved how it’s so current but reflects history. The Six Queens had so much energy and passion in each song. Theatre was so intimate which added to the evening..everyone was up and dancing at the end. A must see and will be there for the singalong show next!!
Great show! Extremely funny with a very talented cast
Very enjoyable good entertainment, great music, comedy and brilliant vocals. Pity it was not a bit longer but a great show at a nice sized venue.
One that you’ll definitely want to see again We downloaded the album the next day Love love
Beautiful voices, well crafted lyrics, current sound and great vibes. Not just for girls - my 15 year old son and husband really enjoyed it too!
Fantastic show absolutely loved it! Was a bit disappointed with the cocktails though and think they could be more glam £8 for a drink in a plastic cup and maybe have different names such as: Aragon Aura In Me Boleyn Bellini Seymour Sling Clevees Cape Codder Howard Highball Parr Paradis Also I bought a T-shirt and was advised to get a medium that is to big for me can I exchange it?
What a fantastic show. Amazing music and humour running throughout.
By far the best musical I e seen in a long time. Great acting and singing with a fun story
Went there open minded and had no expectations but absolutely blew us away and would definitely recommend and see it again.
The energy of this musical was insane, it is one of the best ones I have ever seen! The girls were all fabulous singers and the band were amazing! Cannot fault it at all, I was smiling throughout :)
Such great performances! And I love the music!
Really enjoyable, high energy show. Great fun...Go see it!
Excellent. Great singing. Interesting subject for a musical
Amazing performance from the cast and band. Very good story telling about the wives that we didn't know. My daughter picked it for us to watch and they didn't disappoint.
A fun, uplifting musical with great singers and a smattering of historical facts however I do not think it will stand the test of time as well as its characters have. A fun way to spend an afternoon though.
Jaunty, well choreographed and talented singers. Making fun of an historical period in history. Don't like any of the aforementioned don't go. If you like theatre, dance, music, history and satire it's a must.
This was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Great songs, humour, emotional, and all around great fun. Could not fault it at all. I would actually be disappointed if I never saw it again.
Better than I expected. Really enjoyed !
Excellent. Loved the music, choreography and the all women cast. Each character held her own. Outstanding!
I loved the performance of Vicki Manser as Boleyn!
Brilliant!!!! Good story, great singing and the girls didn’t stop entertaining! Lovely little theatre with a great atmosphere.
I took my 12 year old daughter and her friend and we all absolutely loved it. Such a tremendous sense of girl power! Extremely witty, sassy and entertaining. Can’t recommend it highly enough!
This show shows powerful women who were threaded together by one man & all who has there own story of how it's started & ended.this show also gets the viewer interested in researching further into it instead of a silly rhyme that you are taught in primary school. Divorce, beheaded, live will have you singing all day long 👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely recommended. Fabulous voices, Great lyrics, great energy And play that crosses generations. Fun fun fun
Absolutely loved the show, a nice refreshing change from your traditional West End shows. Very upbeat, modern, great singing and choreography. Enjoyed it from start to finish ……………………...
I totally enjoyed this production. It was original, clever, well produced, smartly designed, well performed and sung and features a great score.
This is an amazing show. Fantastic singing costumes spectacular. Really makes you want to get up and dance. Definitely going again.
We knew the songs & were so excited to go, but it surpassed even our expectations!! Fabulous, funny and historically accurate. Clever clever clever!!
We really enjoyed the show, from beginning to end. We were impressed with the vibrancy of the musicians and the 'Queens'. It was so good that my daughter-in-law and I will be going again in the autumn, when we will be taking my teenage granddaughter.
I have seen Six twice now. It was great singing dancing. Plus the time of show was spot on. I may see it again .
Honestly one of the best musicals I have ever seen. The songs are incredible and it will have you singing along by the end.
An extremely entertaining 75 mins. The girls are sooo talented and the whole show just flies by. Really really enjoyed it.
