Currently playing until July 2020, don’t miss this uplifting and hilarious musical on London’s West End!
Funny, sad, emotional. A rollercoaster of emotions and the songs and singing was outstanding
Can't review the the show as it was cancelled, which as a whole was very disappointing. I feel the management dealt with the cancellation badly (we were told when we were all sat down ready to view the show) having let everyone take advantage of the bar etc (they knew what they were doing)! I don't believe we will be refunded for travel - just the ticket (still awaiting my refund)! Epic fail.
Fantastic. You laugh and you cry. Lived it
Theatre staff were so lovely and helpful and created such a welcoming atmosphere. The show itself was an unbelievably beautiful performance.
Really related to the cast, great stories and songs. Humor and sad bits. One of my favorite shows so far.
A fantastic evening - great show, music and cast. Both funny and poignant.
Great cast, great set, great night! Highly recommend! It's hilarious and wholesome and sweet.
This show was selected to fill an after and what an afternoon. Absolutely amazing, great story, highly entertaining all the way through. All performers were sensational and put in an excellent performance. Good songs and very funny story line. Highly recommended it to all.
so the moment the show was about to start one of the performers came on to inform us due to staff sickness the show wont be on , sorry but , where is the understudy?
What a disappointment! We traveled from Suffolk as a Christmas present to see the show. My daughter is auditioning for a part in Waitress for her drama group and wanted to see the show before hand. We bought programs, merchandise and pies. Sat in our seats waiting in anticipation. At approximately 2.35 a member of the cast came on stage to tell us in a jovial manner the show was cancelled due to a member of the cast being unwell. We all thought it was a joke and everyone was confused. My daughter ended up in tears and so hysterical she couldn’t breathe. I don’t think the situation was handled well at all. I hope the cast member is better soon.
Show was amazing!
So worth a watch really emotional yet gripping! Never laughed at a show so much in my life!
Fantastic, feel good show.
Show was incredible! The music by Sara is phenomenal and the actors are so great. Even went to the stage door and got selfies and autographs with all of them. Would see it again in a heartbeat
This has been the best musical I have seen out of them all. I sat in the front row and felt like I was part of the action, the whole cast were amazing and did the movie justice. Can not fault anything in this musical will definitely see it over and over again.
I've been there 3 time since i discovered it , and i am still amazed and in love with the experience, the entire crew is really amazing and I know I'll be going there again when family visits to show them this masterpiece !
Wonderful show, very touching. The lead and Dr Pomater were outstanding.
I did not know what to expect. So glad I took a chance as this was brilliant! Funny, emotional and totally unpredictable!
It was a Christmas present for my mother. She loved it, and so did I. Sweet story, wonderful songs and great voices. We left the theatre thoroughly entertained and uplifted.
Singing was amazing. Story funny with some very sad parts. Overall a really great family show.
A birthday treat for my daughter. We had a lovely time and were upgraded from the upper circle to the stalls which was an added bonus to a most enjoyable show. It was funny, rude and sad with great singing and acting by all parties. We thoroughly enjoyed it even with the technical hitch which was soon resolved. Thank you to the cast members and all those behind the scenes for making us smile laugh and cryxx
Me and my boyfriend have been dying to see this show and it was incredible! we cried and laughed all the way through. Already looking to come and see waitress again.
I went to see Waitress with my mother for New Year's Eve. The entire show from the cast, the props, the set, the lighting and the music was spectacular! Lucie Jones was an incredible Jenna and the emotion she put effortlessly into the role was incredible to watch. Loved every moment.
A feel good show for all the family but probably more appealing to females due to themes about workplace friendships, cooking, pregnancy and child birth! But don’t let this put you off as it has a strong storyline and is not predictable as to how it ends. The singing and acting from Lucie Jones (Jenna) and David Hunter (Dr Pomatter) was first class. We loved it and it was one of our favourite Musicals and have seen many.
If you enjoy watching people having sex, men pushing women around, women in labour and listening to lots of dreary songs then this is a musical for you. There is romance in the plot but the comedy element was very weak, I think most of the audience laughed out of uncomfortable embarrassment or because they were just glad the scene didn’t contain any of the above. It was a shame really because the cast are very talented but that talent is wasted on this dreary, depressiing, feel bad story.
Very slow to get started. However second half much better. Fabulous singing by lucie jones
Great show. Amazing voices from the leads and some good laughs
Brilliant show We loved it singing was amazing
Amazing show and cast, lucie Jones was brilliant! Her scene in ‘she used to be mine’ was so moving and thought provoking. Thank you Adelphi theatre for the upgrade too making the experience even more special
Wow this was an awesome show! A complete roller coaster of emotions!! From tears of joy to sadness! Had me hooked from the first serving of pie!
We went to see this show having no idea what it was about and it did not disappoint. the acting is superb, the songs are fantastic and the storyline is engaging from start to finish. I took my teenage daughters and they loved it - congratulations to all the cast and crew!!
It was OK, but when we booked expected to see Joe, very disappointed.
This hilarious nostalgic musical was a real treat to watch last night . The comedy really shone through and there was certainly some rude elements which made the jokes that bit better . I had heard some of the songs from the sound track previously and loved them and I was just as impressed with the rest of the songs. overall very very happy 😃
I couldn't have loved it anymore, I laughed, I cried, I want to see it all over again. Casting is fantastic!
Family Christmas trip with teenage daughters. We all loved it! Great performances from all the cast.
It was not what I expected but it was very entertaining and uplifting from a woman's point of view. I loved the idea of the orchestra being part of the musical on stage.
I purchased a ticket for my daughters Christmas present to go and watch with a friend No where on the website does it say a child has to be over 16year to attend without an adult. After numerous attempts to contact the booking office and cancel. No one has got back to me. I still haven’t received a refund or a courtesy call and now the date has passed. What a waste of money. Not happy
This was a last minute booking, omg am I glad we chose this play! Funny, raunchy, tonge in cheek jokes, moving and a tear jerker ... all round show! Took teanagers as well and they loved it too ... highly recommend!
As an avid theatre goer, I can honestly say that the show is the best I’ve ever seen. The perfect mix of all the emotions and the cast we’re all incredible. I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to see it but I’ll 100% be coming again soon. 10/10 LOVED IT
Didn’t know the story at all. Blown away by the best show I’ve seen. It was so funny, sometimes sad, fantastic vocals by each and every one of the cast. Would love to see again x
Excellent show, can't rate it high enough. Humor brilliant. Cast fantastic
We really enjoyed the Waitress it was funny with a great cast & lovely voices.
None of us knew anything about the story/film, we absolutely loved it. The singing was out of this world, goosebumps when Jenna (Lucie) sang 'She used to be mine'. Recommend this show to anyone, fantastic performance all round.
Personally, I think is one of the best shows in the West End atm. I watched already 3 times and I will do it again. The talent of every single performer on that stage is overwhelming. I highly recommend it.
A beautiful show highlighting the themes of friendship, hope and dreams. A touching performance by a very talented cast. Stunning music paired with the imagines onstage really brought the characters and the world of waitress alive. Highly recommend to everyone! The theatre itself is very welcoming and is a stunning piece of architecture.
Brilliant - lots of laughs and truly heartwarming show
I knew nothing about the story, but that matters not. The songs and storytelling were great. The cast were fab, in particular Becky steals the show with her unrelenting sass and humour. Difficult themes of domestic abuse and fidelity are dealt with with a very deft touch. You will laugh throughout and root for the three fabulous waitresses! Treat yourself and watch this little gem
Show was amazing! Actors Were exemplary and played their roles with great skill and real emotion. Performance and props all managed seamlessly. Could not recommend it more highly. A very emotional but very funny show. A fab night out. Thank you 😊
A great afternoons entertainment - thanks
