Great exhibition. Well worth the entrance fee. I found the film showing the process of plasticisation to be absolutely fascinating.
Very interesting exhibition, lots to see and we enjoyed using the blood pressure machines and cpr dummies. More for older kids/teens and adults as the little ones did get a bit bored at times.
Body Worlds is well worth a visit and great value for money. It gives you a great insight into how our bodies work with detailed exhibits that reveal the underlying structure of our bodies and how it all fits together
Amazing staff, excellent exhibition. So clean and tidy. Easy to get around, lots of information. Highly recommend to friends and family.
Best way to spend 2hours in London!!
I thought it would be creepy (which I like) but instead I found it "odd" to be surrounded by all these medical teaching aids. They must be very useful for that purpose but otherwise they became somewhat tedious. Some of the notes on the wall were excellent (and I do have a familiarity with anatomy, massage and general health) about psychology but I couldn't take notes because my backpack had been confiscated. I was also hung up with headphones and a switch round my neck which I found irritating, especially as I had a walking stick. The diseased organs were also informative but I came away feeling quite depressed and glad to get back to live people with skin and enjoy my own reasonable good health at 70. I prefer the occult and mausoleums and charnel houses and forensics, especially where faces are actually PUT ON bones and one can see what people looked like when they were alive (ie Richard III) and what killed them and what diseases they suffered from.
To be honest i have been to other events he has put on ,both in London and abroad, but they never lose the ability to teach you new things. this one is about how your vital organs work and what happens when you abuse them. IT will take about two hours to walk round the event. if you have been before i would still go again .if you have not go and see just how great the human body is . lots to learn here both for adults and children
Good customer service, you get let in at your assigned time slot and there was no big queue. Easy to move around the exhibition without missing anything. It is spread over 3 floors 5, 4 and 3. We made the mistake of thinking there were 5 floors so rushed a bit. We paid an extra 5 pounds for the virtual reality experience but it was average. However we made savings by booking in advance. It is an intriguing experience particularly knowing they are real dead bodies but it’s not Gorey at all. Very well presented. Good aircon too. Well done body worlds .... you have a great staff team too
As a healthcare professional it was an amazing way to see the body. A great visualisation tool of the systems in their entirety.
I was really impressed with body works and its certainly unique. However, going with a 10, 12 and 14 year old i found that they were bored of listening and reading by the end. More interactiive things would have made such a difference to them and their whole experience. They had had it by the end, after the initial ohh and ahh they got bored. Bit of a shame
What a fascinating experience. Very well presented and informative. Really worth a visit and see the human body from the inside. Would recommend but not for small children.
A very educational exhibition. Staff were lovely and helpful and ran the whole process efficiently. Would definitely reccomend.
I’m very sorry but did not make it as at this minute I’m in hospital so hope to go very soon
I really enjoyed my visit, so educational. Would be great if this could be shown in schools it may make children think twice about looking after themselves i.e. eating properly, not smoking, excersise etc. I certainly would recommend it.
Really enjoyable and very interesring
If your in London go and see this amazing and fascinating to see and learn. Plus the location isn’t perfect for some shopping after
Learnt a lot, really fascinating and well set out. Only let down by the clunky point and click audio guide. Check out the Buckingham palace way of doing it, much more user friendly. The video of how they do the procedure may be worth putting at the start? Overall a must see.
My wife and I visited after much debating. We have an interest in anatomy and found this fascinating. It’s well laid out with a natural flow. The interactive elements are fun and the detail is easily digestible. The lifestyle advice is also spot on.
Very interesting A bit dark in places and would’ve been nice to be able to take pictures - the interactive cells video was very good
I have seen this exhibition twice, and am still amazed at how much I learnt about our bodies. It is so well done, and an interesting way to spend a couple of hours away from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus.
Amazing exhibition. After we got out, we realised we spent 3.15 hrs inside. Absolutely worth visiting. My Biology mad daughter loved every minute of it.,
What a great exhibit, very informative, learnt so much. Definitely a great few hours well spent. Staff really friendly and helpful. Souvenirs a bit pricey though.
Probably the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen, it’s so fascinating and you learn so much about the things you don’t see on a day to day basis but things that keep you going Highly recommend this
A great exhibition and so well worth a visit. However, keep children under 10 away as it was so disruptive and very annoying trying to listen to the audio with these young kids running around and making a lot of noise.
I booked this for me and my partner i went before when it was at the o2 there seemed to be so much more at the o2 but we still had a great time as my partner had never been he was very interested in it all would reccomend this to my friends
As far as it goes it was excellent. It could be so much better if it was brought up to date Disappointing it was so dated Missed opportunity
Very interesting and informative. Well worth the ticket price. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
We took our grandchildren ages 18/14 they were absolutely amazed at the sights , and workings of the human body , we were all amazed
I am a theatre nurse but was bowled over by the detail gone to, to explain the bodies, I was so impressed with the health education side too. Would love to go again
Fantastic presentation of the body and how it works. The exhibits are just amazing, being able to see what the body is able to do on a daily basis is incredible and it’s shown to us in an easily accessible way so that everyone can learn what’s going on underneath their skin. I’d highly recommend it as it’s a fab day out for anyone and everyone.
Amazing, educational exhibition for both medical professionals and the general public. Bit clunky with the audio guides but did allow for the exhibition to be enjoyed at your own pace.
Wow! An amazing display of humans and what amazing animals we are. The audio guide and pint and click is an excellent educational tool for everyone.
Absolutely amazing visit to Body Worlds yesterday. To be able to see in intimate and intricae detail the workings of the human body was a priviledge. I felt the whole exhibition was sensitively put together. Sensitivities for age and culture were carefully considered and addressed, e.g reproductive section. I was particularly impressed about the focus on the psychological aspect of good health, and the importance of diet. The human body was considered systemically in terms of the need to focus on attitude, lifestyle, diet, exercise and how all of these need to be worked together to achieve optimal health. I came out of the exhibition with a renewed profound sense of gratitude and respect for these wonderful 'machines' we are lucky enough to have. I shall be going back as there was so much to observe and absorb!
I wasn’t too sure what to expect, I thought it may have been a bit morbid and emotional but I was completely wrong. It was an amazingly educational experience which has made me come away with a higher respect and a little more understanding of how my body works. I shall be retuning with more people 👍👍
The exhibition was excellent and the audio feed really enhanced the experience. It was nice to see there was seating, to take a break from the standing and walking. We enjoyed the interactive activities, BP, CPR and mood ball. It is an excellent way for a layman to learn more about the human body, but similarly interesting to professionals too, being able to see everything. Only disappointment was the VR where staff member was not ensuring the equipment was working properly, had to say something before assistance was offered, when the problem was evident on computer screen, and only two being used at the time. Otherwise brilliant visit.
I was totally engrossed for 3 hours - and look forward to returning. Well presented and I am so grateful to those who donated their bodies so that I could learn more about mine.
I thought it was fabulous
Very well presented.
I didn't really know what to expect and was hoping it wouldn't to too gory. It wasn't! The exhibition was really interesting and informative and bizarrely peaceful. It was quite busy, but people were walking round in silence. Some of the exhibits were very moving. I would highly recommend a visit. It was worth the ticket price.
I knew it was going to be good, but not magnificent! Exceeded all my expectations. Wonderful to learn more about the human body, and actually makes one respect the human body and life itself a little more. Would like to go back with my son as it’s wonderfully educating. Just fascinating! Im in awe! Thank you Dr. Von Hagens.
I thoroughly enjoyed 3 hours observing and reading all about the body. Such fascinating facts!
Absolutely incredible experience. Would highly recommend to everyone. The exhibition gives you a completely different perspective on the human body and educates in such an easy way. So pleased I went for my 21st birthday, it made it a day to remember.
The only thing I would change is the video should be shown before you go in not at the end you would have more of an understanding of the models but overall very interesting
Amazing, shows the human body in a way no text book can compete. This is a must see for schools, students or anyone with a keen interest.
It was an amazing experience! Did not know what to expect but even our 13 year old was amazed and it sparked some interesting questions. A really good experience! Must see!!!!
I took my son you has a biochemistry degree and he enjoyed it immensely. Very informative. The only downside was that the audio guides didn’t work on some occasions . Lighting could be better .
Interesting, incredible and educational! Would highly recommend
I had wanted to see the Body Worlds Exhibition for some time having heard a lot about it. As a retired dental practitioner and forensic odontologist I found the exhibition very good for revising some of my now rusty anatomy. The personal audio commentary I found was not 100% reliable and some times it was quite difficult to work out where the 'hot spot' pick points for the audio commentary were. The video at the end explaining how the cadavers are processed was very interesting. Perhaps the video should be at the beginning of the exhibition?
Educative and interactive, loved it.
