Really enjoyed performance but a bit disappointed that some of Bob Dylan's best known songs were not included and on the bill board it said Lay lady Lay was one of the songs featured but we didn't hear it. All singers were excellent. Story a bit depressing !

We booked this because it mentioned Bob Dylan’s lyrics and music. Initially, we thought it might be about his life so we apprehensive when the play started. We were quickly won over by the amazing singing and the “take” on Dylan’s music. How clever to set the play before Dylan was born - it would have been far too difficult to set it in his time; the audience would have wanted to draw conclusions about him. We highly recommend this play but make sure you take plenty of tissues with you because your emotions will spill over before the end the show. Brilliant - I so much want to see it again. Elizabeth and Marianne were absolutely wonderful when they sang. Well done all of you. You’re brilliant.

great acting and singing - songs well arranged and lyrics well chosen from Dylan's songbook to fit with the dramatic content and tone. l would have liked to see some connection with Dylan's early life other than Duluth . But overall a well structured and moving musical.

Loved Elizabeth’s character and vocals - though wished whole songs sung as opposed to parts only .... especially forever young song. Overall all vocals excellent- 2nd half more exhilarating.

This is the second time that I have been to see this show and I am considering a third visit. A beautiful, moving piece of theatre with fantastic performances across the cast. Not necessarily a huge Bob Dylan fan but the interpretation of the songs intricately weaved through a moving story of a family struggling in Depression era mid west go the US is stunning. The vocal talents of the cast is incredibly moving and entirely captivating. If you get the chance then go and see this production, a really moving piece of musical theatre.

If ever there was a diverse way to sing the music of Bob Dylan the cast of Girl From The North Country certainly proved there is. Amazing acting, amazing cast, amazing show - two hours of brilliance. All and Bob must be so very proud!

Great entertainment - whether you are a Dylan fan or not. The characters’ back stories are woven together with harmonies from Dylan to create an absorbing show. Shirley Henderson is particularly good.

This was a very good play on so many levels. Ciaran Hinds was imposing as Nick, he had a great stage presence. He portrayed a troubled man who was trying to hold it together but had a palpable vulernability about it. Shirley Henderson as Elizabeth provided a moving portrayal of someone living with dementia. She was a fragile character who knew no boundaries and my when she sang it was breathe taking....if ever they did another revival of 'Little Voice' she would be my first choice. These are two household names but the rest of the cast were equally as good. The interpretation of Bob Dylan's songs was surprising and beguiling. The musicians ever present on stage worked well within the set. A marvellous night out. Shame it's only on for another week

Highly emotive storyline entwined with great music. Really captured the privations and stresses caused by the depression and personal heartbreak but threaded with considerable humour too. Actors singing voices outstanding.

I'm a big Dylan fan and whilst the storyline was a bit clumsily merged with the Dylan songs, the arrangements of the songs and the performance of them was amazing.

Big Dylan fans - big disappointment- all the characters seemed trapped in a world of despair and hopelessness with so many narrative threads I couldn’t work out what was going on. Also found the depictions of mental illness unsettling and lacking heart. All might have been revealed after the interval but we had left
