Featuring her much-loved songs, TINA, The Tina Turner Musical is written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by the internationally acclaimed Phyllida Lloyd.
Don’t miss this world premiere playing at London’s Aldwych Theatre!
What Is TINA About?
Rock legend Tina Turner has won 11 Grammy Awards. Her live concerts have been seen by millions. She’s sold more concert tickets than any other solo performer in music history. But where did the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll get her start?
TINA, The Tina Turner Musical traces the rockstar from her humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way through to her transformation into an icon of the music world. Presented in association with Turner herself, this new musical tells the story of a woman who didn’t just break the rules, but rewrote them – defying the bounds of age, race, and gender time and time again.

Great singing and story telling of Tina’s live.
This show was absolutely fantastic from beginning to end highly recommend it
Great seats. Great cast. Great atmosphere
Good musical lead singers voice was ok but needed to be stronger
Outstanding play and music! I go to a lot of plays and this was certainly in top 10 %! The finale, where audience could participate, was a nice touch. The entry process was smooth - no unnecessary waiting. (Perhaps the only negative, which was probably a function of the old, but very atmospheric, building -was that it was way too hot in there. Wear a sleeveless tee and you should be comfortable.)
Fab performance from everybody especially liked seeing the band at the end. Great tribute to Tina Turner
Wonderful show. Non stop brilliance.
what a fantastic show, i loved every thing about it, well worth going to see. Hoping to see again when it comes to Manchester with my friends.
Great show but staff supervisor was very rude and not helpful upset our evening
Whole show was wonderful Thank you for such a great night.
2nd visit to see the show, brilliant. The cast amazing, Ike does a brilliant job as you truely believe how vile he was.
Amazing lead for Tina! Great show with amazing songs and cast.
Great show high energy and a great night out
What a fabulous experience this was. The whole cast was excellent with the finale beyond any reasonable expectation. You have to participate!
I was aware of some aspects of her life. But I had no idea of the hardships she had to endure as her life unfolded. I am American, this was a very entertaining show. If it comes to the states, I would suggest my family see the show, especially my parents. TP
This was a birthday gift for my Dad. I've had a text with a thumbs up, he said he had a fabulous evening and that the show was definitely worth going to see.
Took my friend as a birthday treat to see this show. We both really enjoyed it. The singing, acting and stage production was excellent. Would recommend
Most disappointed TINA never happened on 27th September!!! I turned up at the venue at 19:20 to be told TINA WAS CANCELLED. My friend had travelled over from US and I had travelled from Northwood, Middlesex. A return fare from Northwood on London Underground is approx. £10 each.
Amazing show, incredible singers and actors. This is a true story, it is hard watching in a few places but absolutely necessary as it portrays real life as it was for Tina. All in all, great experience.
The most beautiful, amazing and powerful show I have ever seen.
Brilliant musical with amazing songs. Superb singing from everyone.
Oh my what a show from start to end. Amazing performance from the cast. Tina was played well she looked and moved just like the real one. Well done everyone. We went to this show (x6 girls) for my sister birthday and she absolutely loved it I’m so glad I did as I heard good reviews about this show from lots of friends that have been. Loved it loved it loved it
If you have seen the Tana Turner documentary, them you will know the story line right away, but if not the it won't take long to get into it, the girl who play the main roll is amazing, the energy she puts into the show is amazing
This is such a vibrant captivating show and we had a fantastic time . Brilliant dancing and singing who wouldn’t love it . Took some great friends for there anniversary present and they thought it was the best show they had seen . We will definitely come again .
Heard a lot of good things and they were all true. Loved it.

What a performance! Amazing! Best musical i seen by a country mile!
Absolutely brilliant! Great show and atmosphere! Would definitely go again
A wonderful representation of the life of Tina Turner. Spectacular ending to the show and Ava Brennan playing the part of Tina made you believe she was Tina. Great show, best we have seen since Jersey Boys.
Simply the best!
Lots of people not as good as I was expecting last 15 mins very good orchestra fantastic and good to see the md
Music was great especially Tina , what a voice felt stage set little drab, basic , mixed feelings on show felt lacked wow factor though understand followed Tina's tough life
The quality of performance by all was very good.
Absolutely fabulous one of the best shows i have seen
We visited for my Husbands 70th Birthday...he loves Tina Turner...me not so much..HOWEVER WE WERE LEFT ABSOLUTELY BREATHLESS ..sent Goosebumps up and down our bodies..it is the Most Fantastic Amazing show we have EVER SEEN....TRULY MAGNIFICENT...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
A good show but Tina wasn't as good as last year's Tina.
Oh my goodness where do we start, this show completely took our breath away. The staging and the lighting made it seem like you were watching the production in high definition, it was truly amazing. I cannot praise the staging and props guys enough. All the actors and actresses were fabulous, but the gold medal goes to the actress who played Tina WOW simply the best.
Great performance by each and every character! What a show!!
It was a fantastic show seen it 2nd Time as it was so good throughout
I have to admit that a friend asked me to book tickets for this show and I wasn't sure whether I would enjoy it or not..... but WOW this was an amazing show and I would recommend anyone to see it. Her early life was hard and there was a lot I didn't know but was professionally and sympathetically shown. As for the cast - they never need to worry about their weight......... the enthusiasm showed was infectious. A really really great show!
Wonderful show great song, just one bad thing the leg room was very small I am six feet I could not fit my legs very painful by the end.
Our group thoroughly enjoyed Tina. Adrienne Warren commanded the stage.
Best show I’ve reversed seen
Sorry cannot review as show was cancelled
Cancelled by email as we had just arrived in London after spending money on train tickets and hotel accommodation!!..too short notice to cancel hotel and we had already arrived after a three hour journey!!...not acceptable
Arrived in London went pasted the theatre which had people outside. Went for a quick cuppa to find out from other customers the show had be cancelled. We receive a refund for tickets but no the booking fee or travelling expenses, my sister 50th birthday present
Booked for a 40th birthday, travelled a long way only to arrive at the doors to be told the show was cancelled, where is the customer service from the theatre, apparently it was cancelled on Friday for the same reasons .
Unfortunately our show on Saturday 28th September was cancelled. We only found out when we got to the theatre. Very disappointing for us as we are in london from South Africa and we were taking our granddaughter who lives in the uk for her birthday. We only received the email re cancellation of the show in the evening and our show was the matinee. Ros Saven
